buddy_z34
Hell I would take a 50% Smith than any current available tackle on the roster

My biggest worry coming into the year was who the swing tackle (roster-wise) was who the swing tackle would be. Apparently the "answer" was undrafted rookie Terence Steele. Uh, it's a pretty big worry if we're missing two of the ten best OTs in the league in any single game. Would be a significant blow to offense. Depth isn’t there at all. Really hope team signs Veldheer tbh.

Because we continue to rely on oft injured players. Lee Vander Esch T. Smith Etc. It's every year. Same names leave gaping holes, back ups are a disappointing drop off in talent. If a player is experiencing the same type of injury, or multiple injuries year in and year out, GET RID OF HIM! You are only diluting yourself and putting other players at risk by thinking it is going to change.

We can't have all star backups, however for years our challenge has been, as you state a disappointing drop off in talent from starter to backup. Historically we have not handled injuries to key personnel well. Quite frankly it's been disastrous. When I hear Smith with a neck injury and we are looking at it the cynic in me gets worried.
