It's not a question of telling and believing.

It is a question of observing with one's own eyes and reaching a rational conclusion.

but its not a rational conclusion.

Kizer sucked

Kessler sucked

Campbell sucked

Hoyer sucked except for 6-7 games

McCoy sucked

Quinn sucked

Anderson sucked except for '07

Frye sucked

Dilfer sucked

Garcia sucked

Holcomb sucked

Couch got destroyed

Literally the last time the Browns had an advance stats offensive stretch like this over a 3 seasons span ( this year and two prior) would be '78-'80. Hell they are on paced to potentially be the best offensive browns team in franchise history but yet you  want to say Baker sucks.

They are doing this in spite of Mayfield with astute play-calling from Stefanski to compensate for his deficiencies, not because of him.

ah so baker is only good because of good coaching/coaching knowing how to use the QB and the talent...wow that is an intelligent take. (with such amazing insight, Im def writing you in for president )  I didnt know that was possible...

Cosmo Kramer Mind Blown GIF

(quick delete these posts, so opposing teams dont find out our secret)

Boys, I think we finally cracked the code for success...you get a coach who can compensate for deficiencies...

Also you know said coaches can help develop young QBs, we have seen it in Buffalo, Baltimore, KC, Seattle.

...Now maybe we should let a coach, actually coach on and off the field and see what he can do. Let baker go into the offseason with the same system and same group of assistant coaches for once and not get stuck learning new things and being coached up by different QB coaches

but hey. Baker is the next cody  kessler, right...

He was a #1 pick, dude.

A leader of men.

The point you apparently missed is that we are winning in spite of Mayfield, not because of him.

Face it: The truth will set you free.

So the 20 first half points we scored last game where Mayfield was our leading rusher and we threw like 28 times are attributed to?

To win in spite of someone means they are a negative. Now if Mayfield had 4 TD and 9 picks instead of the other way around we may get your logic. He doesn't and we don't so you sound like you are being overly negative for some reason. Whatever it is.

Do not usually agree with Stephen A. but think he is pretty spot on in his observations in this case.

Except he has hated the Baker pick more than you have since the draft lol :) The kid is far from the greatest but he certainly is not the worst, is more than capable of leading the team to a Super Bowl, and is far and away the best QB we have had play for the team since Tim Couch (who got thrown to the wolves and ruined).

But hey, let's go ahead and get rid of him and roll the dice again to end up with yet another crap QB that leads the team no where because why not?

The cardinals went drastically out of their way to hire a Very risky HC in KK. They hired him because they knew Murray couldn’t operate in just any offense. Why would Arizona do that, he’s a #1 pick QB, he should be able to operate in any offense with any coach

Jared Goff was a god awful QB his first year until the Rams found the right coach for him

winston has been a god awful QB, lot of ppl credit that to never having a good coach. Hence why those guys are excited for him to be learning  from Payton

Alex Smith was a complete bust but he was going through crap coaches after crap coaches. He gets to Harbs and now he is leading the team to the playoffs. Gets traded to KC and takes his game to another level under Reid and was borderline a top5 QB in the league for a 3yr stretch.

hell Bruce Arians scheme is why Luck is retired. Maybe a better scheme and Luck is currently the best QB in the league.

GTFO if you think a player should be trumping coaches...please name a player that has been able to...

hell the greatest QB of all time, got that way by having the greatest HC of all time.

let’s see another goat QB, Montana, only had a HC, who revolutionized the NFL passing attack.

Maybe you were a good choice as a write in for president, your takes sound like something trump would say...complete garbage

You want your QB to be good, get them a good HC. When have we seen a Good QB just fall on their face with a good HC? It just doesn’t happen. If it does they are either past their prime Or physically messed up from Injury
