I don't know about that. First of all, a half game worse would certainly put the Vikings ahead of other teams in the draft standings. A full game would not currently be needed for the 1-5-1 Bengals. The (division leading) 2-4-1 Eagles are lurking as well. If the Vikings put a number up in the tie column then the half game would come into play. There is no tiebreak when they teams finish a half game apart because, well, they aren't tied. Secondly, Right now three of the five teams that would be picking in front of the Vikings if the season ended right now have a higher SOS than the Vikings. They are only ahead of them in the draft standings owing to their worse records (0-7 or 1-6). Jacksonville's strength of schedule is very close to the Vikings too. He had to have a plan to get rid of the ball out of bounds if he didn't have a target. That 65 yard FG attempt after the sack was super close. It would have been good from 64.
