I agree with you, although I do think that prospects that have tested positive will have more medical scrutiny based on potential long term effects. Vikes_Bolts1228
I'd struggle to think about tanking Lawrence in the 6th round after this....

Viking Penguin
Well, with the Falcons win, we move up a spot. Edited October 30, 2020 by Viking Penguin
Uncle Buck
Vikings move up a notch in the Trevor sweepstakes. Only three teams ahead of us right now, because Houston will never take a QB.

We have had horrible luck in the playoffs, but we actually have had some nice breaks in the draft over the years. Philly passes on Jefferson, AD falls to us at #7, Randy Moss at #21, etc. Edited October 30, 2020 by Uncle Buck
Malfatron
well, the Packers are gonna go for the long game....sit most of our guys, tank this game, and get healthy for the 49ers on a short week so enjoy the win on Sunday Edited October 30, 2020 by Malfatron

Not that Houston would ship off Watson but it's even less Miami moves on from Tua! Also, if all teams played the same amount of games, the Vikes would be picking 3rd due to lower SOS as tie-breaker. Hell, Giants may even go Sewell and give Daniel Jones a lineman unless they really want to cut bait on their #6 pick just two years in.... CriminalMind
The more team ahead of the Vikings (even if they are not interested in taking QB), increases the risk that teams below the Vikings draft slot move up above the Vikings. We don't even have a 2021 2nd rounder, so we will have a harder time 'defending trade ups'

You don't think the Giants wouldn't ask for a ransom to move down and potentially lose Sewell?

That doesn't mean they don't trade the pick to a team looking to jump in front of a team like the Vikings. Obviously lots of football left regarding the draft order. Texans and Jaguars in week 9. As brutally bad as the NFC East is, I'm guessing the Giants will get at least another win or two within the division. They should all feed off each other to a degree, which is one more roadblock out of the way for our "Trevor Tank!"
