thrILL!
the story and performances were outstanding but the de-aging CGI really took me out of the movie several times. Legendary cast tho.

At some point I paused it and realized I still had an hour to go. LoL
MacReady
I’m probably gonna start The Irishman tonight. This “future is streaming” works splendidly for me.

Also, A Very Long Engagement is the best international film I've ever seen maybe. Far better than Amelie. Nice, gonna be watching that one soon. Just watched The Hunt, also. Another very good one that I loved.
Malfatron
Anyone (that likes 3d) seen Frozen II in 3d yet? I heard its not that good in 3d, and my choices are either 3d or imax
MacReady
Started watching The Irishman. It’s so weird seeing Joe Pesci again. And De Niro/Pacino actually trying again.

Don’t have the time. I watch about an hour or so each night after work. So that doesn’t bother me. And so far, yes. sdrawkcab321
The Irishman was perfect. No issue at all with a 3+ hour movie. It was a story that couldn’t be hastily wrapped up in 90 minutes. De aging was kinda cool but they probably should have used a stunt man for the grocery store fight scene.

Definitely should have used a double. De Niro looked like he was walking with blocks on his feet.

Same with Samuel J in Captain Marvel. They can hide the face, but the foot speed gives them away.

Have you seen photos from the set? DeNiro was wearing shoes with like a 6 inch sole.
