Ready or Not was an amazing movie. It was like a combination of The Most Dangerous Game, Clue, The Burbs, and Get Out. It was perfect for a stand-alone movie but I kinda wish it had gone differently so there could be a sequel.

I will never understand why Knives Out got all this hype when Ready or Not was so, so, so much better. Samara Weaving was one of the best female protagonist I have seen in a while, she just killed it in this movie.

Are we supposed to chalk it up as pure coincidence that around the same time that method actor Jared Leto films Morbius (a movie about a dude that gets bit by bats to become a vampire), covid breaks out across the globe and is rumored to have started from biting bats?

Watched He Got Game for the first time. Denzel killed it and Ray Allen did a good job for a NBA player actor and it was all around a decent movie. But Milla Jovanovich or whatever put in a historically awful performance

So you're saying if we kill Jared Leto, the plague will stop?

You mean standing in a straight line and firing guns at each other isn't the height of military strategy?

But it was.

The ultimate goal was obtaining fire superiority, and because of the reloading difficulty and accuracy, the best way to achieve sustained firing was the mass guns and push into the most effective range. It also help stave off Calvary, and keep soldiers in formation as they marched (over uneven ground) to prevent being picked off, or for exploitable gaps to open up along the front lines. There were units of skirmishers (who used cover and distance) deployed to harass supply lines, delay deploying and general trolling of flanks; but those units were easily outgunned, and could be quickly overrun by disciplined line infantry. If you tried to use more modern tactics in pitched battles, you'd find yourself easily overran or out maneuvered.

Except britain’s stiff straight line strategy is probably one of the only reasons we were able to overtake them
