You already have.  When it was called

Taken

Taken 2

Taken 3

The Equalizer

John Wick

John Wick 2

The Gunman

Sleepless

Those are my favorite types of movies. Except Taken 2/3 suck.

Watched two movies over the weekend:

Annabelle: Creation - I loved it honestly. I was expecting a cheap horror film with a couple jump scares, but I genuinely thought it was one of the creepier movies I've seen. The jump scares seemed somewhat original and the other scary/creepy parts were legit. I hate gory movies (don't think there is a point to just creating a movie with random violence) but I liked that they threw some gore/violence in there (a perfect small amount). I LOVE the Conjuring series and I loved how they tied the nun into this one. I am very excited for that Nun movie, whatever it's called and whenever it comes out. I'd honestly give this Annabelle move an 8/10.

The Shallows. Not going into this one withe expectations or taking it seriously, I enjoyed it. It started out really realistic and about halfway through completely flipped to unrealistic, but who cares. it was an entertaining shark movie. The best character was Stephen Seagull. Glad he made it out ok. But Blake Lively is gorgeous. Not sure she's too high on the actress scale, but she is definitely joy to look at. The dialogue at times was cringeworthy. I wish they had somehow tied that incoming storm into the movie but I guess she got lucky and it missed her?

Random thought. I saw a Facebook article about The Poughkeepsie Tapes and how it was banned from theaters. I've heard of it before and I've read about the graphic violence and the disturbing scenes, one in particular involving a C-section. Has anyone seen it? I don't plan on ever watching that due to what I read but interested to know someone's thoughts on the movie.

Wind River

I quite liked it.  The scenery was spectacular, the music great and the acting was pretty good.  However I didn't think it needed to go down the route of making the Elizabeth Olsen and Jeremy Renner characters start to fall for each other.

I liked the previous two movies by Taylor Sheridan (screenwriter and director in this case), Sicario and Hell or High Water, as well so I'll need to look out for any future movies he writes and/or directs
