  1. Russell Wilson's QB accomplishments despite his surroundings are pretty much bar-none compared to anyone else.
  2. Russell Wilson has never asked for anything until now.
  3. Tom Brady can specifically take less cap hits because he's in a pretty unique situation as a player/person, but let's not forget he never gave NE home town discounts until he was in his 40's, IIRC.
  4. Drew Brees has played a long career being a pocket passer short of 6' tall because he's had elite OG's in front of him
  5. Just because something historically hasn't been done doesn't mean it shouldn't be done. If you want the best for your team, why would you not consult your franchise QB?

That should suffice for now.

*Your item 1 and 6 were practically the same point and the original 4 was a non-issue for me so those have been removed.

I would say that Wilson has indeed accomplished a lot, but he's far from the only one. And I may be wrong, but he's had quite a penchant for complaints/drama as his star has risen. To what degree? Can't say. But I know that over time I've slowly begun to find him to be a bit of a diva.

Brady, though, was absolutely taking bargains for the Pats. Was it 75% off? No. But he has definitely given his teams a good deal of leeway. Citing his situation, by which I'm assuming you mean his wife's income, is a bit weak. Not on you, but as a reason. If a QB's agent used that in contract negotiations, they'd be laughed out of the room. If we're using greatness and spousal income to make points....oof. None of these guys are hurting for money either way. But yeah, no, Brady was notorious for shaving plenty here and there and constantly restructuring without it being a public drama.

Brees hasn't always had elite OG's in front of him. Bit of an exaggeration there.

These little caveats aside, I agree with you on history and not consulting QBs. It's ridiculous to argue that players shouldn't have some input. If an offensive style clearly clashes with a QB's play style (ie: Peyton Manning running an RPO heavy offense), it only hurts the team as a whole or leads to a breakup. Seattle hasn't been as egregious about it as Houston has, but there's no reason to not embrace Wilson's input as a franchise guy.

The only reason he'd be considering the Raiders would be knowing that Ciara's relevancy is quickly approaching the casino circuit territory.

I think he would look great in a Raiders uniform and you know Gruden would be in love with Wilson. What would the Raiders have to send, obviously Carr and picks but how many and what rounds

Mike Silver seems plugged into the situation, he reported that about a dozen teams have called about Wilson and any package should start at 3 1st round picks.

So i'd guess for any team it would be 3 1st round picks, a 2nd rounder, a solid QB, and a young foundational player/starter.

Every team with a disgruntled QB is going to name the Jets & Dolphins as suitors. If you're giving up a Watson or Wilson, you want a chance at the top rookies to soften the blow.

Unfortunately for them, it seems like Wilson has neither of them on his list. Watson didn't have the Jets on his list. Dolphins seemed to be below the Broncos & Niners in Fowlers latest report from a week or so ago so not the top destination for Watson perhaps.

If the Seahawks are trading Wilson, the best bet on that list is the Raiders. Out of conference & get a solid QB back in Carr.

Wilson to Raiders would be a Gruden move. You give up 3 1st rd picks to bring in a guy in which the qb isnt the issue. The defense blows and Wilson will have to throw 50+ times every game just to stay in it. Is the oline and weapons better options then what is given in Seattle? Solid speedster in Ruggs and you have Whaler, along Jacobs that can definitely be argued in which it may be appealing but the lack of fixing the defense is going to be the issue. Also will Wilson really want to deal with Mahomes and KC the rest of his career, not to mention a rookie coming off a hot year in Herbert?

Bears while they have the defense they have the lack of oline and weapons on offense. Landing Wilson may bring A-Rob back but outside of that the oline is worse then what he has in Seattle.

Saints they are a billion overcap and cannot afford his 20 mil price tag without losing a ton of pieces and forcing a ton of restructures. It would take time to get it done before he can be moved.

Cowboys, this is a team that is interesting. I hate the Cowboys but to me this is the ideal situation for both sides. They have a qb that is better then Dak, may be a bit older but you know his price tag for the next 3 years and it is way under asking price then what dak is seeking. You have the weapons in Lamb and Cooper, you have an older oline but above what he has in Seattle and you have an extremely weak division. The only thing I think would stop this option from happening is Jerry. Wilson is clearly speaking his displeasure and is demanding to be heard with his ideas and to seek power. Jerry does not want a player to have power so I do not know if this would work out. Will Jerry sell his soul for a chance at another ring? I think so which is why I think this is interesting as the fit is there but the idea of Jerry dealing with a power hungry player is what will be the hold up.

Issue with Carr is your going to have to pay him 20 mil this year and next year then he will be looking for a contract extension. Not to mention the dead cap that will be involved in the Wilson deal in which it will be 13 mil in 2021 and 26 mil in 2022. So in essence you will be paying for Carr at 33 mil this year and 46 mil next year. It would have to involve a boat load of picks to be included in the Carr deal.

I completely agree with Jets and DOlphins every blogger is going to link them because of the high draft pick and the draft capital they have

IDK, maybe they should work on finding a happy medium?

And get an OC whose passing scheme isn’t so easily figured out. Hopefully Waldron is that guy.

Looking into the issues last year, alot of it did fall on Russ's shoulders. Scotty wasn't that incompetent. There where plenty of play designs to exploit the 2 deep, zones teams were running against Seattle. Russ just wasnt very interested in throwing to the flats or throwing timing routes in the middle of field.
