i trust cable to coach guys up, though. that doesnt mean i'd trust him enough to let Hudson go (for very little immediate cap relief) with the plan being Andre James. i liked the nick martin signing because he's at least competent in pass pro. but then we extended Andre James and there never even appeared to be a battle. the snapping issues are frankly embarrassing.

his lack of play strength and even the snapping issues were evident in that detroit game he started a couple of years ago. i imagined that he must look vastly better in practices than he did in that game... but him being the anointed starter seems like malpractice. reminds me of when the bills went through camp/preseason and ended up starting nathan peterman week 1

My thing is it's pretty clear that the decisions that are made in this raiders era are done with heavy input by who the coordinators are and who the position coaches are. Regardless of what we all(me included) think about James it's evident that Tom cable completely believe in this guy and he was Tom cables decision for sure. So it's either we ride with them or we dont

Lmao! Sad but true, look, Hudson wanted out. Plain and simple. We did the best we could with a trade. I personally thought Hudson was hoping for his release so he could go back to the chefs. I’m glad that didn’t happen cuz they had a need (ended up drafting c Humphrey) but the James thing isn’t looking so good at this point. Drop the egos and cut bait. Martin is the better option at this point. And IMO, it’s not even close. But the egos, and the stupid contract shouldn’t but prolly will affect this decision, meanwhile you have a solid vet sitting on the sideline sayin “really?” And smh!

Lol Leatherwood got away with one here

Nothing bothers me more than Raider fans thinking there is a bias against the by the officials. Missed calls happen all the time to every team.

Abram got away with a PI on the endzone that would have given Miami the ball with a chance to win at the 1. And Crosby was held into oblivion on multiple plays.

I like to think in our little bubble here we are knowledgeable sensible fans. (We have hot takes no doubt ). Step out into Raiders Twitter and Instagram… well you know the rest fans love to be victims of the conspiracy. You would think Pete Rozelle and Al are meeting with attorneys as we post on here

Abram was bang bang, they also called a ticky tack PI on Mullen in the end zone.
