OneTwoSixFive
PFF scores are less meaningful than they might be, because of the sample size (and maybe partly influenced by the gameplan last week as well). After the first three weeks, an average grade might be much more revealing. Beyond that, the more weeks players are graded, the better the info.

That he switched positions has no bearing on his rating for one week. A 70 on PFF is right around average for the league. Actually, for a guard, a 60 is an average game. Is it not plausible that Jenkins played exceptionally well for the majority of the game, but had a couple plays where he got beat? 70 is above average, specially for guards. Around 60-65 is average. VonKarman
Sooo, since I have a PFF account. Among guards who played at least 30 snaps, from 64 eligible guys Jenkins was the 4th best with a pass blocking grade (87.2 grade). Patrick was 14th and Taylor 16th. He graded poorly in run snaps (59.4) and he was the 22nd best guard overall. We didn't run the ball particularly well, specially in goal line situations, so I guess it makes sense.

Also, how much does a PFF account cost per month? Might be worth getting one at the end of each football season.

I took a promo with another 3 guys with 40% off, so we are paying 30 dollars a year each.

I have game pass, but time is something I'm limited on (building a man cave in the new house). If I get around to it, I'll break down the O. Jones was credited with more broken tackles than he had in all the games last year minus one. I thought he played excellent.

Runyan also has made a comment that made it sound like the DL might of been all tired out before he got in there, or while he was in there, due to all the sweeps. It shows something PFF dosent take into account ( to my knowledge) that would clearly have an impact on a player.

Not necessarily though. He was rated 70 where he played. I don’t think you get a handicap for being out of position. Certainly gives Jenkins a pass, but shouldn’t effect how someone is scored. I hope he didn't regress this year we really need that above average CB play. That was one hell of an above average pick6 Sullivan made this afternoon against Detroit.

Yea he started out piss poor and then came out of the half on fire. Good that he turned it around.
MacReady
First page has been updated with Week 2 scores. Notes: *Josh Jackson had a big jump. How much did he play yesterday? Anything from him that's not bad is promising. *Jaire jumped way up. *PFF must love Dillon as much as I do. *Sternberger is bad. *Corey Linsley balling in his contract year. Might net us a nice 4th round compensatory pick. *How much did Krys Barnes play? That's honestly really exciting if he's doing something right (even by PFF standards) *Christian Kirksey our savior is rated way lower than Blake Martinez right now.
