TheRealMcCoy
Solak was trying to point out stuff in Wentz's mechanics that looked off to him. Quincy Avery who is a QB 'guru' / throwing coach weighed in a little bit:

If he does then the Eagles will def. pass on him They only want these super smart(not even football smart), High character & Run to mommy type dudes. They care more about how they come off the media and represent the Eagles appearance wise Edited September 22, 2020 by EaglesFlySBChampsHigh

TheRealMcCoy
I gotta apologize to Nate Herbig. I was questioning if he should even be making the roster and his scheme fit. He did a really good job on Sunday.
Nabbs4u
So who is Quincy Avery and what's his claim to fame?

He worked a bit at UCLA before starting his own QB training outfit which is essentially his claim to fame. Quote The rise of black quarterbacks has helped Avery build his business, Quarterback Takeover, into one of the nation’s top quarterback training outfits in just seven years. Avery was born into a football family. His father, Wendell Avery, is a former college quarterback who coached both in college and the pros, including a stint as a head coach at Savannah State University, and assistant jobs on teams including Fort Valley State and Alabama A&M University. He spent a year on the staff of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and most recently he has been coaching in the Canadian Football League. Like I said above he's one of those guys who works with high school, college, and NFL players. Helps them work on the finer parts of their throwing mechanics. Quote Avery and his QBTakeover work with Hurts, Deshaun Watson, Dwayne Haskins, Josh Dobbs, Cam Newton, and many of today’s top collegiate and NFL quarterbacks. This is from an article about him working with Hurts during the offseason leading up to training camp and how he's worked with him dating back to his Alabama days. Link to article: https://theeagleswire.usatoday.com/2020/07/17/philadelphia-eagles-jalen-hurts-quincy-avery-qb-guru-training-camp-carson-wentz/ He's also been working a lot with Justin Fields who after Trevor Lawrence is probably next in line to be a top pick. From the sounds of it Deshaun Watson is probably the one he's helped the most and is closet to though.
