Chiefer
Fisher-Osemele-Reiter-Wylie-Schwartz Im liking the early returns so far. Pass protection was decent, helped by the game plan. But the run blocking was much better then what I’m used to. Assignment-sound football, hat on a hat, good technique, nothing fancy just getting the job done. Hats off to Heck who had these guys dialed in. Osemele was a star, Collinsworth highlighted his blocks multiple times. He was really bullying guys up front, clearing lanes, pancaking and had enough athletic ability to block linebackers. He’s a mean, mean man Wylie was more hit or miss, seemed solid, but also made to look silly at times. Watt will do that to you but he seems to have balance issues. LDT wasn’t much better so this is a wash so far. Schwartz did allow a rare sack, but generally Mahomes was pretty clean or was getting the ball out in a couple seconds. onejayhawk
I think Durant is the eventual replacement for LDT. Remmer, Wylie, Allegretti are just stop gaps. Rankin may be a bit more when he gets healthy. J

He would like a ring too and is putting the work in to get it.

KC_Guy
Well, this OL kinda disappointed me quite a bit today. PMII was running for his life most of the time. False starts and holdings didn't help much at crucial moments. And even in the brute force run game they didn't really produce. Other teams will take notice ... albeit, not all teams have the pass rush the Chargers have.

Not this bad obviously. might be a longer season the I thought, they were completely outmatched.
onejayhawk
I see that Sneed is leading the league in INTs. 😎 J
onejayhawk
Tyrod Taylor was not injured prior to the game. He was having chest pains and the team doctors sent him to the hospital. 😟https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2020/9/21/21449116/tyrod-taylors-mysterious-injury-before-chiefs-chargers-game-explained-nfl-justin-herbert Justin Herbert may not give the job back. He played well. J
