It's certain that one of the 32 Head Coaches won't have a job by the start of the playoffs.

Who's the first to get the axe... and when?

My homer/hot take will be Bill O'Brien after an 0-7 start (which is actually a reasonable record prediction, given the Texans first seven games) but we all know William O'Brien III won't fire YOLO BoB... So, YOLO BoB won't be let go.

Outside of that, I'm putting Matt Patricia on notice. He's potentially looking at an 0-6 start, and he's already on shaky ground.

Your thoughts?

I am fairy convinced that BOB has a video of Janice Mcnair murdering a male escort

Adam Gase is my pick. Never understood the hiring to begin with. Gase is not a good coach.

Gase is an ok coach. The Jets are just a horrible team that should frankly just be disbanned. But we keep them around to laugh at them and they get by because teams like the Browns exist that can make them look like they're not the biggest blight in the league despite them being so.

Patricia is the answer here.

This should be renamed the Adam Gase thread.  Just this past Sunday you had a fireable offense in sending your hurt star RB back out and now that RB is on IR.  Hes traded away one of the 4 or 5 best S in JamallAdams, he pissed off everybody the moment he stepped in the door, and in top of it all, Dowell Loggains still has a job.  He may be a good OC, but hes a terrible HC

I still can't believe this. That alone should be a fire-able offense in itself. There should be rule that if any GM/HC who thinks about or even considers hiring that bum for anything but janitor duty is fired immediately.

Manning set records in Denver under Gase. Without him he wasn’t nearly as great, still Manning but not record setting Manning.

Cmon man, it's still Peyton Manning. He was as "football smart" of a player as they come, and a on-field coach himself. You or I could've been the OC on any team he played for and he would've made us look good.

He did, however, make the most out of Jay Cutler and helped him have the best season of his career.  That's not saying much but I do give him credit for it. However, I can't help to think that it was another case of being a one-off year and luck and that was when he was a OC and not a HC.

There are alot of coaches who have proven to better suited for lesser roles (OC/DC/OL) but just not fit to run the whole ship and that's what Gase is IMO. I think he could be a good OC if he went to the right team and was paired with a HC who had the same philosophy and offensive ideas as him.

That said tho, the Dolphins are the Dolphins and the Jets are the Jets. We all know that. So it could also simply be a case of a good coach going to the wrong franchise too. I won't completely rule that out either.
