BlaqOptic
Some of you people are just naming decent duos. The thing is, the OP is suggesting the Washington Football Team also has depth. When I think of Depth with at least 3 guys who can get to 8+ sacks I think the 2007 Giants!
I <3 Faulk
Quinn- Donald- Brockers- Long was a pretty good line. I believe the Rams were the first team in NFL history with back to back 50+ sack seasons as a defense ( though I could be wrong on that). Never amounted to many wins, but the line was nice.

You may be just talking about pure pass rushers, but Allen is a huge part of it. And it's not just the edge talent. They also have Payne and Ioannidis rotating around as well for the other DL positions (along with Allen.). We won't be able to keep them all, and I imagine that someone, somewhere, gets traded for help at another position, but it's nice to have them right now. What Ware/Miller did in that 15' season to every elite level QB from Rodgers, Brady, Newton, Rivers, ect that year was insanity. They made the best QBs in the NFL look absolutely shook on a weekly basis. They mentally broke Cam Newton for 4 years following that game, held prime Rodgers to 72 passing yards and hit Brady a career record 20 times in a single game Edited September 22, 2020 by AkronsWitness

Other teams with one eye on your DL knowing you wont be able to keep them all like...... Also @naptownskinsfan, who do you think is the first one to go?

You talking about that loss the Steelers took in the playoffs that year where Ben threw multiple interceptions with a 77 QBR? BullsandBroncos
I can only speak on the ones in the early 2000s because I was born 4 years before we won our first SB, but in my life time, the absolute Top 3 are the 15 Broncos, 07 Giants, and the 2011 Giants. Never seen any other pass rushes single handedly carry teams in the super bowl and playoffs. 13 Seahawks were up there too. #4 for me. Washington's talent is up there. Love to see what they can do together in a full healthy season. Nothing more entertaining in football than having a destructive DL on your favorite team imo

You mean the game where he was on his 3rd HB and 3rd-5th Wide Receivers while he himself was injured the week before? And still had the chance to win the game if that 3rd HB didn't fumble the ball on what would've been a game sealing drive? Not saying he would have been great otherwise, but the dude was without LeVeon Bell, Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant, DeAngelo Williams, and Maurkice Pouncey. His starting RB/WRs/TEs for that game include NFL Studs such as Fitzgerald Toussaint, Markus Wheaton, Sammie Coates, Matt Spaeth, and the corpse of Heath Miller, who retired after the game. Not saying we would've won but in 2013 when we played the seahawks in SB 48, we were missing a bunch of key starters as well that were gone for the whole playoffs. Still made it to the SB.

The Broncos defense a was ridiculously good and wrecked opposing QBs, including giving Ben lots of trouble in that playoff game, while Ben also had a bad offensive cast. Steelers Offensive Lineup was bad, Broncos Defensive Lineup was incredible. Both are true.
