offbyone
I tried to pick the players based on their week one performance. Pick your winner.

e16bball
I had to go with Chandler Jones. Working on that left side of the OL, I think he’s the best bet to collect multiple sacks in the game. I think WFT’s pass rush, collectively, will have more impact on the game — but I think they’ll be spreading the wealth, and I think Jones will have the most individual production.
lavar703
I think we end up with one or two sacks. Murray’s ability to get out of the pocket is going to negate a lot of what they were able to do to Wentz. I’ll go with Kerrigan getting a sack and Ioannidis getting one. It won’t be the beat down it was week one.
HTTRDynasty
It's going to be Jones unless our staff is smart enough to give Christian a lot of help all game. Edited September 18, 2020 by HTTRDynasty
turtle28
I agree with the consensus here, it’s going to be Jones. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets 3 going against Christian unless like @HTTRDynasty said they give Christian a lot help by the TE double teaming Jones & the RB chipping him too. offbyone
Probably Jones, but I assume they will be chipping him. I am gonna take a big risk and go with Kerrigan. Maybe they will give him some more snaps. Those sacks just seem to come to him.

Jones didn't notch a sack, but boy, was Christian terrible. Pretty shocking that our first sack came from Bostic though.
turtle28
Montez Sweat continues to look awesome on the outside and Allen has been a lot more active in the middle this year, they both look the best TBH.

Yep. Sweat was starting to earn the bust label last year and now he is looking his draft position was a steal.

He was a starter as a rookie and I don’t know why anyone would call a rookie a bust after 1/2 of their rookie season. Even so, he played the run well as a rookie and did have 2 sacks the first half of his rookie season. Then, the second half of Sweat’s rookie season he had 5 sacks. If people were looking to call him a bust after 1/2 of his rookie season, they were just being ridiculous. Some people always want to call players a bust too for some reason which I’ve always felt was weird, it’s like they enjoy hating on the player. I think bust is relative. Sure he was passable, but he didn't perform as one would expect for a top 20 pick. Anyways, my point was just that he looks like a different player this year in a good way. Again, he had 5 sacks in the final 8 games. That’s pretty good for a rookie or really any DL - no it’s not elite but it’s far from “unimpressive.” Agree he definitely looks better this year, I think a lot of that has to do with strength and obviously coaching. It’s clear he’s stronger, so when he doesn’t blow by LTs - which won’t happen every play - now he can also overpower him. I think the coaching has improved his technique and his counter moves. I love what I’m seeing from him. Also, just for the record Sweat was drafted #26 overall, not in the top 20.
