Shady Slim Posted October 11, 2017 Share Posted October 11, 2017 going back to tom brady's first super bowl victory, most quarterbacks to represent their teams in the big game were either drafted by that team or got their first start there. all of them aside from: -rich gannon with oakland -brad johnson with tampa bay -matt hasselbeck with seattle -kurt warner with arizona -drew brees with new orleans -peyton manning with denver (x2) so unless you're trading for a future HOF quarterback it's very very unlikely you're going to get to the big game with a quarterback you got in free agency or traded for, alex smith has a very good chance to buck this trend. His only catch was a TD and it was the only game the Bears won Monday nights game The Vikings won the coin toss. The Bears won 15 straight coin tosses before that, including overtime. Its kinda ironic u wanna throw the long run out where the steelers loaded the box and fournette literally ran untouched for 90 yards. If the jags didnt draft fournette they probably arent 3-2 with the leagues largest point differential. His average isnt the greatest but hes averaging close to 110 yards a game and 1.2 tds. Clearly thats worth consideration of rookie of the year. Also if u want to compare hunt and fournette against a common opponent(texans) fournette averaged 3.85 to hunts 3.69 per carry but fournette scored a td and hunt did not. Fournette also has the receiving advantage with 3 for 24 yards while hunt was 3 for 9. U can throw out that new England game cuz new england d is beyond dead.
