Canadian Saint
And we're onto week 2 of the NFL season. This week, the Saints travel to Las Vegas to play the newly relocated Raiders in their brand new stadium. Saints took care off business but they'll have to fix some mistakes to overcome the Raiders. Most notably is running back Josh Jacobs who is a bowling ball and gets his yards one way or another. Carr is sort of what he is so the Saints will have to take advantage. Coaches corner: - Saints had a myriad of issues on offense last week that need to be fixed, primarily of those are the O-line which struggled against a very good Bucs front seven. - To add to the challenge, Saints will be without WR1 in Michael Thomas who has a high ankle sprain. - D looked great with a few new additions showing up (Janoris Jenkins with his pick 6, Malcolm Roach with his performance) - Key for the Saints has to be get the lead early and make Carr beat you. Carr isn't great under pressure so I think that's the easiest way to do it. Prediction: 34-17 Saints I think Brees will be improved and we'll have a more controlled effort to win. BayRaider
Good luck this week guys. I think it’ll definitely be a close game. Thomas possibly out, first game in Vegas and the Raiders will be super motivated, OL and Jacobs looked fantastic first week. I’ll say 31-27 Saints. Good luck this season.
Spartica4Real
Our defense is much better than Vegas' (that's gonna feel weird to say for a while) but our offense might be struggling for a while without CGM. I can see a 24-17 ugly type of win.
nolaexpat
This is such a weird year I just don't know what to think about the Saints (or anyone else) or where we stand in the NFL. It's interesting how rusty some teams looked last week without all of the normal organized activities and the preseason games. I'm not really sure what to expect from anyone this week, us included. 🤷♂️ I agree though - I think the Saints will win, <more points> - <less points> because we're us and we should never have to lose any games. In my opinion.
ckoz24
I barely dropped anyone I fantasy football because of this year. Can’t believe how many people are saying “Brees is showing his age” after one game and no preseason.
RaidersAreOne
Our O is good, boasting one of the better running games behind Jacobs and a beastly OL. However we may be down our 2 RT's so backup G Denzelle Good may be at RT again. He did well vs. Carolina but I expect Jordan to kill him if TB77 is out. Our passing game is inconsistent but Waller is no joke. Ruggs got nicked up and is questionable. We REALLY need his speed to keep the S's from creeping down on JJ. Our D however is a joke. We semi held CMC in check until our MLB and green dot barer Kwit went down then we struggled in every facet. We have a very bad pass-rush and too many young guys in the secondary starting. I expect Brees to pick us apart with ease.
Mid Iowa
The thing I've noticed about Brees over the last few years is that when Thomas is in, Brees relys on him, almost to a fault. With Thomas out, Brees will have to go through his progressions and make the throws he doesn't want to make. Normally I'd say Brees will pick apart a young secondary in this situation, but it's 2020 and I have a feel Brees is going to have a multiple INT game due to lack of timing reps with the young and new guys. Our D is solid, and will be the key for winning this game. Let's home Kamara shows up in the running game to help keep us multi-dimensional. I'm anxious to see how this receiving corps steps up without their #1. This game will be telling, and will help set the tone against some tough competition leading up to the bye week. At Raiders, Green Bay, at Lions, Chargers, Bye. Green Bay and LA are no joke. The Lions; however, are a joke, and that worries me, too. I mean, it might not be the end, but the end isn’t doing anything but getting closer.
sammymvpknight
It could be one of those weeks that the Saints offense looks like they may struggle to get a first down and you are subconsciously hoping that someone else takes over at QB...those games have been becoming far more frequent over the past few seasons. Fortunately, the Saints have a great defense and special teams unit that will probably keep them in every game this season.

Mid Iowa
3rd Q, 40 seconds left. I'm not sure when I've watched a more garbage Saints game. This is on the verge of pathetic. I'm thinking this game has passed Brees's mental capacity. He doesn't trust anything, and has become a 1 throw guy, and that throw is check down. Jlowe22
This defense is atrocious. If these first two weeks are a taste of things to come, this year is a wrap.

Here's a pro tip, make sure you tackle high, right around the shoulder pads.... that should do it.................
