All the athleticism cant help you if you can't diagnose the play.

I think that has to do with his injury/foot issues. Him not being able to diagnose the play, plus him being already one step behind is not a good combo. Especially with the way teams are running their athletic TEs at him
resilient part 2
I don't know how this BAD defense is actually getting worse, but it to be on pace for an all-time BAD level.. throw is some BAD special teams and whammo! buddy_z34
Fire Nolan or have him use the 4-3. The dline needs to get pressure to help the porous secondary. This is what the team was hoping for. But watching the team for a quarter of the season its obvious the 3-4 is not working with the personnel on the roster.

Whatever Nolan is doing isn’t working, so probably best to start there. But also, the presumed building blocks are not what we thought. Complete overhaul in order. textaz03
Jerry is not gonna sign any street FA’s. He’s saving his money for Dak’s ultra mega deal next year. He’s gonna need every bit of rollover CAP space he can find. that being said, it all starts with the scheme!! Nolan is trash! Cut ties now and try and salvage this massive train wreck!! Northland
The talent is not there. Won't matter what scheme we run. Crap is crap. One thing that could help is if we suddenly become a power running, ball control, clock eating offense. That would at least give the defense time to rest and limit their snaps. What are we complaining about? The NFC East has 2 wins. We are in the thick of the race boys!

Imagine being a ground and pound ball control offense that could also turn it up late and ball out if need be. That should be our goal and end game
