PI? Holding I get, or illegal contact, but that's not catchable so it shouldn't be PI.

If it’s holding, it’s PI. It’s only holding if the penalty occurs before the ball is in the air - interferences after the ball’s out of the QBs hand will be PI. That play is PI or it’s nothing.

I understand that, but they are supposed to wave off PI if the ball isn't catchable. So I'm saying they should call the illegal contact for 5 yards and an automatic first down but shouldn't get the spot of the foul on PI because it's not catchable.

It's weird how sometimes a team can't move the ball consistently all game and then all of a sudden in crunch time they hurry it up and slice through like a hot knife through butter. Like why couldn't you have done that before!?

Hey man just so you’re aware that’s what happens when a team has a lead, they start playing a looser bit of defense to not give up the big play
