He's got a cap hit of 15 million and we have 7 million in cap space.

It would take a lot more than Gute going out of character to get Watt on this team.

Yeah but he's nearing the end of the contract. You restructure for 4 years or something and trade that for King and Jones. Seriously think it makes us better. Having him at 3 tech > than having King on the edge, and we aren't paying Jones anyway.

couple DL players on teams that are currently with losing records

Carlos Dunlap CIN  $7.8M in 2020, $10.25M + $1M in other bonus in 2021

Taven Bryan JAX  Rookie deal through 2021

Linval Joseph LAC   $1.5M in 2020, $5.5M + $2M roster bonus in 2021

Dalvin Tomlinson NYG   Rookie deal through 2020

Shamar Stephen MIN   $3.6M in 2020, $3.65M in 2021

Grady Jarrett ATL   $5M in 2020, $13.5M in 2021 and $16.5M in 2022

**************

GB is projected to get a 4th, 5th and 6th round comp pick in 2021 for Martinez, Bulaga and Fackrell respectively.   Would love to use that 4th round comp to pursue a DL upgrade/addition.

Tomlinson and Bryan on rookie deals are easy to fit in.  Not sure if either NYG or JAX would move those players given the cheap deals.  Tomlinson might be getable since they would need to resign him after 2020.

Joseph and Stephen are workable into the salary cap without too much issue, though cap space is certainly not in excess at this point.

Jarrett would be an awesome addition.  Would likely need a restructure to lower the cap hit for 2021, convert to a signing bonus and spread it out over a few more years.

Dunlap might be more realistic, but would need a restructure in 2021 as well.
