Trade Targets?

Situation is a bit different in Dallas with Lamb in the fold. Dallas would be foolish to not take a 2 if offered. Gallup is never going to be more than their No. 3 moving forward. That means fewer opportunities. That means more likely he leaves after 2021. That means no chance Dallas gets better than probably a 4-5 compensatory pick. He's a depreciating asset. They actually should sell high if there's a taker.

They should want to off load Cooper. That’s a bad contract. They can resign Gallup at a much better contract. Given they threw money at Zeke.

They need to find cap to help that defense or oline.

I think Cooper is the more likely target at Dal. Which didn’t GB have interest in him before DAL over paid for him?

Also they might be able to drive down the price as far as picks given up... based on that terrible contract.

Fifth round pick, under 1 million.

First round pick 10 million.

I am all for bringing Fuller in, but he is not who you think he is.

MVS is at 34 yards per game, Fuller at 55.

Next year, MVS is your Fuller.

So yeah, one year rental I’m all in.  Beyond?  You live with MVS in a contract year.  Those drops disappear in a contract year I guarantee it.

I highly doubt the drops just disappear. MVS has shown he cant catch to save his life.

That's the problem though. Cooper is basically untradable. Now, Dallas could always cut Cooper next season and take the $6m dead cap hit but I don't see that happening. Otherwise they are married to him.

I personally don't feel we absolutely NEED to go get a WR. It'd be nice but I think we can live with a group of Adams, Lazard, MVS and Roberts. You've got your elite #1 guy in Davante, two big slot types in Lazard and Roberts, with Lazard obviously able to play outside as well, and your deep ball specialist in MVS. The position isn't as dire as one would think.

Target should be DL. A run stopping DL for that matter. If we could get any one of Dalvin Tomlinson, Tim Settle, Shelby Harris, I'd consider it a win.

An argument can be made, but the GM disagrees.

Last year he looked at Sanders and Anderson. During the offseason he tried Sanders again, got Funchess. So far he has been liked to Ertz and Fuller.

GB is clearly trying to get Rodgers another weapon.

He's inquired, most definitely, but if the price isn't what he wants, he's not going to pull the trigger. Why? Because he knows he's okay at WR. It's a luxury at this point.

I get where you're coming from but seriously, you can't guarantee those drops disappear.  We hang  onto him through his contract and hope he catches the frickin ball and runs his routes correctly.  Both are problems that he has to correct or HE IS GONE.

Honestly, you wonder at what point Rodgers would even throw to Fuller.

He might get a couple go routes early on, maybe some drag routes, simple concept stuff that might get him some looks from Rodgers.

But broken plays?  Scramble drills, complex plays, more nuanced routes?

You're looking at week 14 at the earliest.

Not saying I'm against it because I'm for it, just throwing that out there.

I don't anticipate MVS coming back after his rookie deal regardless.

He's going to make his case for other teams to sign him.  He's not gonna be a star, but he can put up a star season and net us a 4th round comp pick, and I absolutely believe that can happen.

He puts together 70 for 800 and 8 and he's gonna get some GMs throwing him some money.

Good for you ... you believe in him as a wr.  IF he does what you suggest, good for him.  I have serious doubts but time will tell.
