There were two full speed, subtle cuts that Jones made on the play. First to his right and then back to his left. Then, he had the speed to split the safeties. Bottom line: it's a TD run that would not have been a TD if Williams was the ball carrier.

After Jones 1st cut to the weak side, he was running at a 30-45 degree angle from the line of scrimmage. If he didn't cut upfield again he would have run out of bounds, (plus he would have run into the weak side safety) in 40-50 yards. All in all, a great team play and call against the two high safety set... One other thing, Jenkins also flashed his great ability on the play. He's amazing at rubbing off on combo blacks and getting a 2nd block in space.

Yeah, that's just not true.

He is not worth a top tier RB contract. He's a good player but not worth a 12mil+/year contract.

Jones had to alter course shortly after taking the handoff to avoid Linsley, who got rocked straight backwards two full yards by Jarred Davis, a guy he outweighs by 50+ lbs. n8ghee
Jones is in another league from Williams as a runner and it isn’t even close. His vision and lack of wasted motion between the tackles is elite.
