SkippyX
He went 5-8 with a beautiful TD strike in Jacksonville. On that throw Chris Jones destroyed him. When he got back he played meh on a bad team and then had 1 terrible half. He sorta played statistically like Aaron Rodgers does when he comes back from a collarbone. Its almost like playing NFL QB after a collarbone injury is tough. Who would have ever guessed that?
SkippyX
He's got a coach that believes in him and some decent weapons that he will make better as he has done before. I am not expecting him to play better than Rodgers or Wilson but all the hate on him is just truly pathetic.
Kip Smithers
He deserves praise for this decision. So many other coaches wouldn’t dare do this in spite of the teams record. Bears are 3-0 they know that they can get better play from their QB.

The phase where, like many Blaine Gabberts before him, he takes all of his "upside" and "draft pedigree", and uses it to bounce around from team to team collecting salary as a backup QB for the next dozen+ years. Serving as a perennial reminder to Bears fans every time his name pops up, of that time they squandered some years of a really promising team, on a draft bust quarterback. I'm forever thankful. With that defense they would have at least one more Lombardi Trophy with Watson and multiple with Mahomes. Minnesota screwed up worse though. We traded away our 2017 1st round pick for checkdown artist Sam Bradford. If we hold onto that pick, we likely still finish better than Chicago and get either Watson or Mahomes. It was 14-7 in the NFCCG with the Vikings in the red zone and that 1st round pick, Derek Barnett, hit Keenum and forced a fumble. Barnett has not been a great player but he made 2 huge plays in those playoffs.

A 6th round rookie QB went 6-6 as a starter on that bad team. Foles got hurt, sucked, sucked, sucked/benched in his 4 starts. In summary, he sucks. Philly screwed Minnesota like 4 years in a row. 2016 trade Bradford to Minnesota for a 1 and 4 2016 Philly beats the 5-0 Vikings with Bradford under center 2017 Philly crushes Minnesota in the NFCCG. Derek Barnett recovers Brady fumble in SB to secure Eagles 1st Lombardi Trophy 2018 Vikings beat Philly but Philly makes it over them in the playoffs 2018 Cardinals cut Sam Bradford week 9, one week before Minnesota would receive a 2019 3rd round comp pick for him 2019 Philly gets a better playoff position than Minnesota, and due to their loss to Seattle, end up with a draft spot over Minnesota 2020 my guess is they get a better draft pick than us and draft "our guy"

Your pathetic Suxonville D gave up 699 yards rushing in the first 3 games of a 5 game losing streak. (1 Minshew start and 2 Foles starts) Minshew and Foles spit time almost to the second during that 5 game losing streak. They scored 33 points with Foles and 24 with Minshew. Did Minshew have a collarbone injury that we did not know about? 🤣 From October 1st through December 8th the Jax Jokes went 2-7 with the wins over the Jets and the Bengals. They finished out 2-1 because both the Colts and the Raiders went 2-7 down the stretch. I am thrilled beyond describing that Nick Foles got out of that cesspool. Counting this year the Jags will have sucked for 9 of the last 10 years. 44-103 in that span 💩, but focus your impotent rage on Foles 🤣
SkippyX
Foles' rating in those 2 full games you called suck and suck last year was a combined 86.6 (1 turnover) Minshew's rating the last 2 weeks of this year is 86.1 (4 turnovers)
