Jags
It would be a feel good story to hear about him revitalizing his career. He came in and tore the league up by getting his hands on 9 interceptions and batting down 11 more his rookie year and seemed to be ready to be one of the next big things as a ball hawking safety, and then just fell off after joining the Saints and a few injuries. This wouldn't be the first time the Panthers took a former Saints safety and got the most out the older guy. I'll keep an eye on this one.

WaitWhat
Insane how he seemed to cease to be a good player from game one with the Saints. Well, here’s to a comeback I guess.
BAConrad
Eagles were geniuses to sign Malcolm Jenkins for like, what, half the price, over Byrd that off-season. I remember Saints fans saying Jenkins was terrible, only he became a top 5 safety in the league when he left there...

We don't know what goes on behind the scenes with the coaching, all we know is he wasn't very good here. Though we had a top 5 defense that last year, so you can't even really blame our defensive coaching fully. If they were capable of being a top 5 defense where most other people looked good, there was something up with Jenkins playing badly. He was the weakest link of our defense that year, maybe he just wasn't a scheme fit. Maybe he actually just wasn't good while here and he needed a change of scenery and to learn elsewhere. Who knows. He started out good for us, but I think the emphasis on big plays by Gregg Williams caught up to him and he got undisciplined at the end of his time with us and the Eagles had him focus back on playing more disciplined and not always going for the big play.
