Not trading Wentz unless we get a first, would rather him rebuild his value then get rid of him.

His value is never going up. Only down. He won't play another snap here. Bringing him back into camp and causing more of a distraction only makes it worse. Just give the cry baby his bottle and move on.

Would rather roll with Wentz than give pennies on the dollar. Fact is Wentz cost us a ton. Maybe unrealistic but I’m going to need some value back.

if wentz comes back you might as well just disband the franchise that would be such a disaster for everyone involved.

He is sunk costs at this point. You can't dwell on past mistakes. It would be awful for the whole organization to bring him back. Would do more harm than good.

There is no rolling with Wentz anymore. That ship has just sailed. He will be traded and the Eagles will take a massive loss.

Oh, and Fire Howie Roseman

I don't care if he doesn't want to play here, if that's the case give us the 30 mill back so we don't take on any cap hit, or deal with the situation. He's under control for many years, and he was always widely viewed at ATLEAST a top 12-15 QB in the league. Were selling at his absolute low, colts need a franchise qb and we shouldn't just give wentz a way for anything less than a 1st. He would thrive there and it would suck to see we basically gave him away

By taking a QB in the 2nd Howie outsmarted himself out of a 2nd round pick, their long term QB and like $35 mill in dead money. He’s played this hand so poorly that there is no way the Eagles are getting fair value

His end goal was to have a cheap back up for a couple years and then get a good return on Hurts

It baffles me how many people still understand.

Once Carson was benched his time here was over. You don't bench your "franchise quarterback" under any scenario and have that work out in your favor. He was never going to be okay with getting benched and he was never going to be willing to work on fixing the relationship after he was benched.

This is not just a Doug thing either - Lurie told Doug to bench Wentz so you can't just say "Well, Doug isn't here anymore". He lost trust/faith in everyone and it starts at the top.

This is 100% true and it is such a soft point of view. You can bench every other position and not get this reaction. Wentz played objectively horribly and deserved to be benched. The fact that was view by some unholy sin that he can't come back from is really childish. But you are right that is exactly how it goes. What a mess. Literally this whole season and situation couldn't have turned out any worse.

At this point Eagles should trade Wentz to the Colts for a 2nd and 4th rd pick this year and a 3rd in 2022.

They should also trade Hurts to the Bears for a 2nd this year.

Draft Lance with #6 and rock out. ( He is better value than both at this point.  There are too many good corners and LBs in the 2nd round this year.

1st rd- Lance

2nd rd- OT

2nd- CB

2nd- Wr/ LB

3rd- Gaurd/ Edge

This is all after firing Howie

Doubt we'd get a 2nd for Hurts and Change Lance to one of the other 2 Qbs. Rather rock out with hurts though and see what we got first. We'd be even dumber if he was traded so quickly and flourished elsewhere. We'd be double downing on being dumb dumbs
