NYRaider
Definitely. He has the 8th best winning % in NBA history for coaches that have coached for 10+ seasons and the 4th best winning % in the playoffs for coaches that have coached 100+ playoff games. Only 2 losing seasons in his 12 years as a head coach and he has never won less than 37 games in a season. Not to mention 5 NBA finals appearances, 2 championships, with the potential for a third this season. His team has made the finals in almost half of the seasons he has been the coach there (5/12) and he's also one of only 14 coaches in NBA history to have multiple championships. Another crazy stat, if the Heat win it all he'll join Pat Riley and Phil Jackson as the only the 3rd coach to win a championship with two completely different rosters/cores. And will also join Riley, Jackson, and Pop as only the 4th coach in history to have a 5+ year gap in between championships.
NYRaider
A win would also make Spo only the 5th coach in the modern era of the NBA (1979-present) to have 3+ championships along with Kerr, Pop, Riley, and Jackson. OkeyDoke21
He was in before this year, imo. This moved him into lock territory. 2 Titles (potentially 3), 5 appearances. This appearance is with a completely different roster than his previous ones. Strong regular season performance. He's pretty easily in, now.
