Reds only chance is if the starting pitching is unreal and Sims and Iglesias can keep on the role they've been on.  Can't expect much from the offense.

worst possible matchup for the braves. 3 game series with the reds starters is tough, hopefully whats been a fantastic offense all year can get something going.

If I had a second favorite team in the National League, it would be the Reds so I hate this matchup. I love Bauer and dream of having him in a Braves uniform next year, and there are some just really good dudes on this Reds roster that I root for to do well.

Ive got the Reds in 2 or 3. I hope Fried is healthy but I dunno and that potential unknown vs Bauer doesnt give me hope in game 1. Ian Anderson has a ERA under 2.....in a whole 36 big league innings. He gets Luis Castillo. Freakin Kyle Wright is our probable third starter against Sonny Gray.

Freddie Freeman has a 17.2 BB%. Ronald Acuna's is 18.8%, and Marcell Ozuna's is 14.2%. Them pushing up pitch counts against the Reds starters and getting to the pen in the 6th is my #1 key.

Reds with the biggest upset of the 1st Round.

Could go either way obviously, but I really like the matchup here for the Reds.

Reds starters more exp, Bullpen better, and I just have a gut feeing the bats come to life.

Never underestimate the curse on Cincinnati sports.  30 years since the last Championship in any sport, granted, that was the Reds.  I just don't trust the bats to be there in a big spot.  The Reds offense this year has been HR or nothing.

not sure if castellanos tried 3rd on his own on the 3rd base coach sent him but that seems like a pretty big mistake.

If he didn't hesitate going around 2nd he would have made it.  The moment you hesitate, you should stop and take the safe play.
