WindyCity
Zach Wilson was very good last week. Mac Jones, Alabama, tonight.
JAF-N72EX
QB Not a fan of Lance or Trask. Fields would be fine but he'll be gone. Zach Wilson is an intriguing prospect who we might be able to get in the 2nd if he declares unless he shoots up on the draft boards which is possible. OT Would like Jaylon Mayfield, if he's still available. I'm liking Jackson Carmen. Walker Little scares me a bit between his injury and opting out but his upside is hard to ignore. They'll just go into it knowing his limitations better than Pace apparently did. Personally I could still see mitch potentially being a top half of the league qb, but he's going to have to do it in a college style offense that dramatically limits his reads and makes liberal usage of his skills as a running threat. And there's just not a whole bunch of teams that fit that mold. Well...pro teams don't use "college style" offenses, because they don't work in the pros. The linebackers are too fast, and deadly. Mitch's problems are almost entirely mental, though. Maybe even his deep ball inaccuracy. If someone could get his head right, I suppose there's a chance he ends up being a good NFL starter. I think those chances are slim to none, though. 6 hours ago, FosterTheSkins said: This Zach Wilson kid could be legit? https://mobile.twitter.com/jacobinfante24/status/1317283218194878470 Got me. I don't think I've really been aware of him before. I'll look him up...
blkwdw13
With how this season has been impacted with COVID and the 4-1 start, I think the whole regime is back (minus Trubisky) for at least one more year. In saying this I think they go OT in the first unless they are low enough and a QB falls, but I don't think one is going to fall.

Sugashane
Foles and Tru both suck. Draft two QBs and be done with overpaying for mediocrity. At least get crap play for cheap.

Trask last year was ok but not nearly as good as his stats indicate. A lot of Tru-like reads that were dropped and for being a big, solid dude his arm isn't as impressive as you'd expect. Maybe it is was mechanical or whatever but he threw a lot more ducks when throwing deep last year. This year he seems much improved there. He has almost no mobility too. I wouldn't be surprised to see him run a 5.1 40. This year there is still a ton of single side reads and RPO reliance so making full field reads is still a question. That being said I like both but can see concerns on them as well.

I'm never going to be sold on any QB with limited experience as a starter. History hasn't been too nice for those type of QBs. I don't trust Trask's arm down downfield, his release, or how he reacts to pressure. He reminds me to much of Brock Osweiler. Besides, I don't trust Florida QBs. You can blame Grossman for that. I read somewhere that Trask was not even a starter on his high school team. I get that some guys are late bloomers and all that but this has to be a bit concerning no? Kings athleticism would make him hard to pass up in that level. Clearly we see which is the better big program and pro prospect though. For what it's worth, Frank's was the starter only because Trask had an injury to his foot that cost him the starting role. Dude has had a winding career for sure. LSU was where he was originally going but FLA flipped him because they really liked what they saw from him in some camps.
