Two of those plays were masterful examples of how Andy Reid abused Patrick Queen.

The "leak" play to Kelce and the "leak" play to Sherman were both plays where Queen had those guys in man coverage, but because of the play design he bailed on his guy and chased the play, only for his guy to then catch the pass with nobody around.

The two-man route TD to Hardman was such a bad gamble by Peters. If he stays deep he's go position to make a play. But furthermore, they sent 2 guys on routes and we had 5 guys in coverage yet BOTH GUYS were wide open lol

Marcus Peters isn't the focal point - Marlon Humphrey is.

All week I heard that you guys made Peters the focal point. Since Peters’ has become a Raven you have the best defense, with lots of stats backing it up.

Your defenses style of play was very reminiscent of Peters, very high stakes with the blitzing and lots of aggressiveness.

but what you said makes more sense

Who said that?

Statistically, that's true. We had an already-good defense and we inserted another CB1 to play CB2 and he took us to the next level because of his ability to create turnovers. That doesn't mean he's the focal point. When we play teams with a clear WR1, Marlon Humphrey follows those guys around. Marlon is the focal point, if you even want to say our defense has one.

Indeed, and that's just because Martindale has that style built into his DNA, and we have the secondary (hypothetically, clearly) to support that style.

Yeah I conceded, makes more sense for Marlon to be the focal point.

That style is exactly what Mahomes likes.

Mahomes' stats when the Ravens blitzed:

17 completions on 21 attempts

219 yards

3 touchdowns

It just seems stubborn to a fault to continue calling blitzes when it's obvious the guy is more comfortable throwing into sparse coverage.  Whether he has to unload quickly or throw on the move, he's just statistically a much better quarterback when you blitz him.
