NYRaider Posted October 12, 2020 Share Posted October 12, 2020 Sign Fred VanVleet Draft Devin Vassell at #8 Draft Grant RIller at #27 Draft Isaiah Joe at #38 You'd be adding a starting PG that's an improving playmaker as well as a 40% shooter from deep. And a starting SF that projects as a plus level defender and a 40% shooter from deep as well. Plus another playmaking guard that can shoot in Riller to your bench who can lead the 2nd unit plus playing alongside FVV. And finally Joe is another guard that projects as a 3&D specialist and could be the best shooter from the draft when it's all said and done. You are correct they'd be just under the cap if they paid FVV $20M and Bertans $13M. Adding FVV and Vassell into the rotation would improve the Knicks perimeter defense by leaps and bounds. While also really helping your spacing with those two and Bertans all being 40%+ 3 point shooters. It'd open up a lot of space for Barrett to operate.
