Such a poor take Brady had his choice to go to any stacked team. Patriots had to home a washed up cam newton and a watered down college offense could carry them. We all new they were gonna go threw a rebuild.

despite the fact you used threw instead of through... why in god's name do you think they are going through a rebuild a year after winning the division and going to the playoffs?

That doesn't mean that Brady is great. That just means that Winston was really reckless with the ball.

Ok. Brady not being reckless with the football improved our defensive scoring this year top 10. he gets credit for that no?

Brady is great for other reasons, the offensive production..20 from 20 in TD conversions within the red zone. Best in the league. His on fire right now and the WRs arent even 100% healthy yet.

I thought they had to eat Brady's last year of dead money, also don't believe in the QBs , or weapons don't believe tom would have been lighting it up either for them. Also a lot of opt out a.

I'm not very fond of the AFC East outside of Buffalo that feat is overstated.

Okay but this guy's narrative has always been that somehow the "system" and "always playing with good defenses" were responsible for Brady's success. But the facts are that Brady took the team to multiple Super Bowls while playing with bad defenses, and the "system" is absolutely sputtering on the offensive side of the ball, despite giving Newton largely the same supporting cast as Brady had last year (which is roughly equivalent to the one he had in 2006 when he took the team to the doorstep of the Super Bowl).

Meanwhile, Brady is playing at an elite level, at age 43, in a brand new system. Admittedly, the offense around him is stacked, but compare the results to those with former #1 overall pick Jameis Winston a year ago.

Stacked team that went 7-9 last year and missed the playoffs for the 12th straight time?

Why are people acting as if this is Durant joining the GSW?

They were pretty stacked minus winston who led the league in picks. Look at what Peyton Manning did on a denver team that finished 8-8 the year before.

Yesss the team is stacked if you can't admit that we're done here.it is remarkable what Brady is doing at 43 with a weird off-season and learning a new offense. That bucs cupboard was far from bare though.

Dude they're running a completely different offense with Newton like common and Brady I thought was poor last season with the talent around him don't see it being better this year had he stayed even with the covid opt outs.

He left at the perfect time. That being said the Patriots are getting overly criticized by your narrative.

They went from a 25 million per year qb to a running qb who is past his experation date making 7 mill per year

I’m not even sure what you’re trying to prove here by stating the Broncos going 8-8? If anything, that does not help you’re argument. So the Broncos went 8-8 with Tim Tebow and the Bucs went 7-9 with Winston?
