If Brady lost that game the narrative would have been that he engineered an incredible comeback and for the third consecutive time his defense crapped the bed and let a circus catch happen to cost him. He ripped apart the Chiefs tonight and had a 125 passer rating. He bailed out the defense against the Panthers. The only two games you could say the lionshare should go to the defense are the two Rams games and in both cases he still needed to engineer 4th quarter game winning drives once against the best defense in football while he was effectively a rookie and the second time against arguably the best defensive player of the modern era. But like,at what point do you attribute it to luck vs skill/impact? I mean, the dude has 7 rings and still 10 SB's. He had great performances in losses too. However, his defenses and decisions by other coaches are the main reason for at least 4 of his rings. Like tonight. He played like Alex Smith and won a ring. Similar to his early 2000s rings. There are players with more talent -such as A Rodgers and Mahomes, but intangibles are all Brady. He has to be the DAMN FRAKIN GOAT.
