Rod Johnson Posted October 5, 2020 Share Posted October 5, 2020 (edited) I didn't really notice Vernon getting all those pressure, but outside of Garrett hitting home twice for big plays I didn't see anybody making a huge difference in that regard. I think that's mostly on our back 7 for making it super easy for opposing QBs. That 8 yard crossing route plus big YAC is there all day. Can’t say enough about what Kevin Stefanski is doing with this offense and the general ability for us to control the game on the ground/play balanced. Mayfield isn’t losing it for us, which is a step in the right direction from last year, without question. The defense is still a sieve, but we knew that coming in. Don’t care about competition. We’re just now out of the regular preseason and on to big boy games. Stefanski has these guys playing. We’re far from a finished product. Like really far.
