Ragnarok
OFFENSE QB - Carson Wentz RB - Josh Jacobs WR - Tyreek Hill WR - Jarvis Landry WR - Jerry Jeudy TE - Eric Ebron LT - Jake Matthews LG - Laken Tomlinson C - Maurkice Pouncey RG - Shaq Mason RT - Mike McGlinchey RB - Adrian Peterson RB - Mike Davis WR- Devante Parker WR - Tee Higgins TE - Hayden Hurst TE - Adam Trautman OL - Lucas Patrick OL - Kaleb McGary DEFENSE DE - JJ Watt NT - Dontari Poe DT - Chris Jones EDGE - Jadaveon Clowney LB - Benardrick McKinney LB - Zach Cunningham CB - Xavien Howard CB - Xavier Rhodes CB - Jason Verrett S - Minkah Fitzpatrick S - Justin Simmons EDGE - Whitney Mercilus INT - Derek Wolfe INT - Henry Anderson LB - Germaine Pratt LB - Zach Baun CB - Rasul Douglas CB - Vernon Hargreaves S - Bradley McDougald OFFENSE (50% Pass 50% Run) Week 4 already and we take on old friend SirA and his Tom Brady led Singapore Sentinels. This week we continue to focus on balance, protecting Carson Wentz and spreading it around to a bevy of play makers. This week we introduce another different formation, our 13 Personnel package that we will utilize to create mismatches and create opportunities in both the run and pass games. We see opportunity against Singapore’s Front 7 running the football. Our O Line has the ability to match up with any D Line right now, and with some injuries depleting the Sentinels D Line, we feel we can take advantage. To that order we focus on these concepts: 3WR/TE/RB - We will run our 3 wide base about 40% again in this contest and feature Josh Jacobs out of this formation. We are going to run a ton at the edges against Quinn and Jones and see if they prevent Josh from turning the corner. If Singapore decides to load the box to stop our run game, Wentz will use play action and test single coverage to Tyreek on the outside or Landry out of the slot; we feel these are both plus matchups for us. 3TE/WR/RB (40%) - A new addition this week, we feel this will give our offense a formidable formation to pound the rock with both Jacobs and Peterson. With undersized LBs and mediocre safeties, we are going to double team Donald to create some room to get to that second level and beyond. Tyreek will play in isolation outside and we will target him in this formation as well, doubling him could prove fatal taking a box defender away from run defense. Ebron, Hurst and Trautman being about 6’5 and 260bs each gives us a ton of flexibility with regards to drawing defenders out wide, lead blocking from motion, crashing down on the edges and slipping out off play action. 4WR/1RB (20%) - This formation will primarily serve as our 3rd and passing downs and 2 min drill formation, but we will also come out on the first drive of the second half in 4 wide. With Singapore likely making adjustments at the half to focus on stopping the run, maybe we can catch them off guard, create some confusion and get a score that we can build off to put it away. DEFENSE - Cover 1 Nickel Shell We feel we have a defense with playmakers at all levels and can match any personnel thrown at us. Against Singapore, we expect them to utilize their RBs as the engine to their offense, but we think we can limit their effectiveness and thus force Brady to throw into our strongest unit, our secondary. With that in mind we emphasize the following: Stop the Run - This will be the key in determining the Sentinels ability to move the ball and control the clock. Our base 4/2/5 nickel matches well, with our D Line all good to elite level run defenders, along with tackle machines at our LB spots. With a suspect interior O Line, we expect Singapore to attack the edges and as such, we will be more focused on setting the edge and letting our LBs attack the RB. Where’s Waller? - I’m a big fan of Waller’s game and we don’t want to let him dominate in this one. We will double him with Cunningham lined up over him and Minkah Fitzpatrick providing help over the top. If Brady wants to target him in double, ok. I'll Take my chances on a Minkah INT that might switch the field or provide defensive points in a game where that might be the difference. Man Coverage - We’re going to play sides in the one with Howard and Rhodes on the boundaries, Verrett in the slot. Simmons will play centerfield, guarding against deep plays to the Sentinels young WRs. Generally we are going to be aggressive at the line with the objective of disrupting short and intermediate routes. We feel with Watt and Jones breathing down Brady’s neck, he’s not going to have a ton of opportunities to sit back in the pocket and let longer routes develop. Ragnarok
Singapore Sentinels QB: Tom Brady RB1: James Conner FB: Kyle Juszczyk WR1: Keenan Allen WR2: Anthony Miller TE1: Darren Waller LT: Duane Brown LG: Bradley Bozeman 😄 Eric McCoy RG: Wyatt Teller RT: Jack Conklin -------------------- RB2: CEH RB3: Kareem Hunt TE2: Darren Fells TE3: Foster Moreau WR3: Cole Beasley WR4: Lavishka Shenault Jr. OL6: Jermaine Eluemunor OL7: Matt Feiler DE: Chandler Jones DT: Aaron Donald NT: Bilal Nichols DE: Robert Quinn MLB: Deion Jones WLB: Kevin Pierre-Louis CB: Kyle Fuller CB: Jonathan Jones NCB: Rashad Fenton S: John Johnson III S: Desmond King II -------------------- DL3: Roy Robertson-Harris DE3/DL4: Preston Smith DE4: Ryan Anderson DE5: Hasson Reddick LB3: K.J. Wright CB4: K’Waun Williams (Q) CB5: Isaiah Johnson S3: Tracy Walker III Motivation - Let’s get that first home win of the season and get to .500. Offensive StrategyFormations: 2 RB/ 2TE/ 3TE Scheme: Pass (45%) vs Run (55%) Rushing Position Depth: James Conner / CEH / Kareem Hunt Conner gets the start this week (60%). CEH and Hunt are threats both in the run game and passing game out of the backfield or in the slot. They will each get about 15-20% of the carries with the WR getting some Jet sweeps. We are going to run heavy this week and bring back fan favorite Kyle Juszczyk in as a full back on about 50% of the snaps. Using 21 personnel we hope to grind down the Gashslayers DL and LBs to create big plays later in the game and seal this victory. Gotham has a strong interior DL so we will run to the outside and set up the pass for Brady with some play action. The versatility of our offensive weapons allows them to line up in multiple spots and give Brady a quick out to move the ball. In Jumbo sets Eluemunor or Feiler come in to be that 6th OL to help open up the big holes for our playmaking RB’s. Bozeman gets the start on the OL this week because of his run blocking prowess and gives us 2 of the top 4 Guards to go with McCoy to battle the Gashslayers Interior DL. Passing When not handing it off, Brady will be employing a quick passing game that includes our backs on swing and flat routes. We want a short passing game to extend drives and tire out the Gotham defense. Our receiving core of Keenan Allen/WR, Anthony Miller/WR and Darren Waller/TE will flood the field with a variety of routes (slants, crossing, and dig primarily). In 2 TE formations the two Darrens will look to open things up in the seam. Fells is an excellent blocker and red zone target to pair with Waller’s field stretching ability. Waller is picking up where he left off last season and is a serious weapon in Brady’s arsenal. Foster Moreau is the 3rd TE this week to come in on 3 TE plays to block for our RBs or release into the flat for a chunk play. Defensive StrategyFormation: 4-2-5 Defense / 3-3-5 / 3-2-6 Our main defensive formation will consist of the 4-2-5 (Nickel). In my opinion, this formation is putting our best 11 on the field thus giving our defense the best chance to dismantle their offensive game plan. Rush Defense The Gashslayers have a balanced offense and a stud in Josh Jacobs so we obviously will prepare to stop the run. Aaron Donald and Bilal Nichols clog the middle and get penetration this week to collapse the pocket on Wentz. Kevin Pierre-Louis will be a spy this week on Jacobs to limit his YAC. Deion Jones will keep an eye on Wentz as he is also a threat to run. Pass Rush Chandler Jones and Robert Quinn crash the edges and we will again be limiting blitz packages this week to force Wentz to throw into max coverage and get a couple of picks. So we’ll look to exploit things by keeping the pressure on for the bulk of the game with just the base four pass rushers. The depth off the bench in Smith, Anderson and Reddick will make sure that Wentz has no time and nowhere to run all day. Preston Smith will also pair with Aaron Donald inside in our version of a Nascar package and just let him do what he does best in the 3 tech. Pass Defense - Scheme: Cover 2 Man Reek is the clear WR1 and will draw coverage from Kyle Fuller. Jarvis Landry is a solid possession receiver and Rookie Jerry Jeudy is trending upward. Second week in a row against a former TE of ours in Eric Ebron and we again are intimately familiar with how to cover him. Desmond King will keep him locked down this week. We are confident that our secondary is up to the task of preventing this passing game from developing. John Johnson has deep overage as the single high safety and is the last line of defense, specifically against Hill. Coverage Assignments: · Tyreek Hill / Kyle Fuller - CB · Jarvis Landry / Rashad Fenton - CB · Jerry Jeudy / Jonathan Jones - CB · Eric Ebron / Desmond King II - SS

Blue
Wentz is finally showing some signs of life and isn't a complete anchor for this offense. On the other side of the ball, I just don't see a lot of help for Brady. I don't get the gameplan either. Conner is the third-best back on this team, why is he starting and getting a bulk of the carries? Get those pass catching backs more involved. Anthony Miller hasn't shown much at all to this point in his career, scheme up something more creative for Laviska Shenault, who's at least been a competent tertiary target in Jacksonville this season and can get things going with the ball in his hands. Emphasizing the tight ends was a poor decision here in my opinion.

Jlash
I kinda like the Greg Roman-esque 3 TE sets from Gotham, and with Hill and Jeudy both capable of making plays downfield, keeping 1 deep safety back there with King occupied by Ebron could lead to some big plays for Gotham. I don't think they'll have as much success as they feel running the ball, but it'll be effective enough to create some havoc and big strikes in the air. Conversely, I think the size and physicality of Gothams secondary match up really well against Sing Sing and limit what they'll be able to do. TedLavie
Singapore runs a cover 2 man with Johnson as single high safety? As much as I love 3 TE sets, when you do it 40% of the time with a guy with 3 career catches, you might as well put a 6th lineman here. Singapore offense is based on running the football. They start the wrong RB but more importantly I think this is a defense you can pass against but who's tough to run on, especially with Jones out. Despite playing trautman way too much I think Gotham can move the ball more consistently.
