ThatJerkDave
What is McCarthy's record without Favre or Rodgers starting? Also, what is it after Matt Flynn is removed from that total?

Already did that exercise a while back in a post comparing Bellichick without Brady to MM without Favre or Rodgers and MM came out ahead record wise (on a much smaller sample size). Will try to find it.
Packer_ESP
Got it: As for your specific question: Mike McCarthy Quarterbacks Matt Flynn: 3-3 under MM, 0-1 elsewhere Scott Tolzien: 0-1-1 under MM, 0-2 elsewhere Seneca Wallace: 0-1 under MM, 6-15 elsewhere Brett Hundley: 3-6 under MM, 0-0 elsewhere This was November '18 so I guess theres a few games for Hundley missing

Add 2-3 for Dak and 0-1 for Dalton. McCarthy is 8-15-1 when coaching without Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers. I would be surprised if that improves this season. Dallas got wiped out this year. I believe they only have one preferred starter left on their OL. [edit] looking at Dallas' roster, it looks like they have both guards, and Biadasz would probably just got a jump start to his career. They have a number of tackles injured though, so I am not sure if they are down to back-ups or 3rd stringers. MacReady
I still don't like judging McCarthy just yet. Give him a year to assess his roster, build it more to his liking, add a top 10 pick after a failed Dak injury season and they could dominate.

Not sure it will matter if the players quit on him

But it is significantly harder to replace the players due to dead cap implications
HeresAGuy
McCarthy is in full Tank 4 Trevor mode. Smartest of us all. Playing 4 D chess here.

If you get fired by the Packers I mean you aren’t at your expiration date you are like a few decades past it.
