Week Four Recap: Falcons Flop, Packers Fly

Positives:

-Four and f'in 0

-No Davante?  No Problem, we got Big Bobby, Jones, and Jamal.

-Jaire had a hell of a game.

-Z continues to make the 1 or 2 big plays for this defense every week.

-They had their issues for sure, but for a bunch of second stringers, the rest of the defense did OK.

-They kept it under 3 hours.

Negatives:

-Not challenging the Shephard near-TD, then the playcall on 4th-and-goal.

-More lousy injuries.  I mean, what the hell?  This week 5 bye is actually nice.

-More suspect tackling.

-Missed extra point?

Very Negative:

-This Falcons team seems as though it has given up.

it'll be even worse by the superbowl. Defense is going to have to really tighten up

Easy fix... just turn the defense around (facing away from the los) and the opposing team will be moving so far backwards it will be ridiculous!

I don't think they would of won the Shephard TD... his body was on/over but the actually ball was on the other side of his body and not over.

Tackling was horrible at times.

We lost King and Sullivan and they weren't able to take advantage? ... how? but now the Bucs will get to see the back-ups in the game and know how to attack, so we need to be healthy at DB. Only 16 points given up, while missing 1 starting DL, semi-starting edge rusher, both best ILBers, and 2 of the 3 top CBs... not bad...

Also the 5 of the Falcons 6 top DBs basically missed the game (one of which got injured before the half)...

The best DB was on MVS who had 4 catches for 45 yards, and missed a back shoulder throw potentially for a TD.

But the other WRs (who are back-ups themselves) were only able to get 4 catches for 49 yards... that sorta scares me when they'll have to go against better / healthier DB groups.

Z had the plays that show up on the stats sheet (and a few penalties) but he was consistently creating havoc on  any Falcon that got in his way. Maybe it was lesser competition but it was good to see him with his hair on fire just about every play.
