Dr LBC
https://www.tmz.com/2020/10/06/eddie-van-halen-dead-dies-cancer-65/ Yeah, it was cancer, there was little way he was coming back from that, but those of you too young to properly appreciate Van Halen just step aside while some of us old guys quietly mourn in the corner. This man was every bit a part of my childhood and formative years.
rob_shadows
I'm only 33 but I've played guitar since I was 9 and just like every other guitar player on the planet eruption was one of the songs I desperately wanted to learn how to play, lol.
thrILL!
Arguably the best to ever pick up a guitar. Been a huge fan since Running With The Devil.

TENINCH
Not my favorite guitarist but sad to see him go. Wish he would have quit smoking in the 90's. Left behind some really good music!

For me it was Poundcakes and Powerdrills.
THE DUKE
Van Halen was a staple in my house growing up with two older brothers born in '74 and '77. Eddie is one of the best guitarists of all time, but he was an all around unbelievable musician. The keyboard solo on Jump has been my ringtone for about the last two years. He leaves behind an amazing legacy. Rest in peace Eddie.
