Too many responses from fans of affected teams.  I'm not so how about this...

1.  Titans are removed from the schedule entirely.  Their wins are removed, the teams they beat have the losses removed.  The Steelers get their later bye week back.  All future games scheduled with them become byes, and before someone screams not fair, consider this would also build in weeks to try to contain the next potential outbreak.

2.  As they aren't a part of the 2020 season, Titans forfeit their league revenue share, IF and only IF it can be proven that team officials/coaching/front office had a hand in helping organize it.

3.  Loss of all day 1 and 2 picks of their own theis draft.  If they acquired others in past trades, they can keep those.  Also barred from trading back into the first two days of the draft if they don't have a traded pick already in their possession.

4.  Any coach or front office official that knowingly played a part in the HS site practice gets the Sean Peyton treatment.... gone for a year.

$100,000,000 doesn't sound so bad after reading this...

People saying to pause the season: do you think this wont happen again when the winter kicks in? Just add 2-3 more bye weeks to every team and adjust the schedule accordingly and treat the virus like what it is... It's not ebola. Players will get it and will be fine. Now, old people shouldn't be allowed to share locker rooms with the athletes, thats asking for trouble.

What is the threshold that your rule will apply to other teams throughout the year?

Part of it was very sarcastic, and I should have said it.  We have pages upon page of different fans screaming about possible outcomes being unfair.  There's nothing fair about any of this.

But if teams willingly break COVID protocols, and it's debatable as to whether the Titans players did, then those teams should absolutely be punished.  At the point where they were at the HS facility, the game last week was still on.  It was the NFL version of working from home, as many of us did last spring.

The reality is the titans should sit out the next 2-3 weeks, but how does that affect everyone else on their schedule?  That's what led to the whole "take them off the schedule". which was an obvious over-reaction, but there are few realistic outcomes that solve all the problems the situation has created.  The real issue is the NFL being reactive instead of proactive in its policies, but that's been discussed ad nauseum.

Yes - this.

Yes and it’s difficult to understand how they did such a bad job with this considering they were the last of the major sports to take on Covid so they could see how basketball/baseball/hockey etc responded. Certainly the NFL has some unique challenges having such large rosters/support staffs that would make doing a bubble(s) difficult, but it really seems like the plan was just no one catch Covid and we’ll be fine. Lol

No mistake about it, there was some significant blunders on this one.

I know there's some inherent bias to this take but the NFL got damn lucky with what happened with the Titans and Steelers schedule.  But as a Steelers fan, as this continues to go on, there's no way to feel anything other than a tiny bit screwed over because of the stroke of luck in the schedule.  Meanwhile because of the Titans seemingly unable to follow the protocols they might end up with an extra time off, the Bills will get two in season bye weeks.  The Steelers meanwhile gets their schedule shuffled around. The NFL HAD to expect this would happen, and it's why I did push for and will continue to push for just shutting it down for a week or two.

Then no other team has an advantage of extra time off in season, no other team gets screwed with schedule changes, and instead of finishing the season in a bubble, they can put every team in a hotel bubble in their own season for 2 weeks.  Heck given how much money the NFL has they can likely even pay to allow teams to take families inside these bubbles; give all player and coach families the ability to learn from home for the kids.  Set up home offices so any work could be done from home.  Discontinue for the season visits to hospitals and charity organizations.

It's literally what the NFL had us do after our first positive test. Go to Minnesota and play the Vikings tomorrow.

They aren't the same...

When you guys had more cases come out they had you guys shutdown the facility. That doesn't mean group up at a different area and all is ok. I feel like that's obvious.

Another positive test this morning. They need to force the Titans to forfeit a game and make them an example for the people to take this seriously.

No they don’t. Forfeiting a game for the Titans hurts more teams that aren’t the Titans than cancelling the game outright and figuring it out later if you need to.

It's hard to think of a way to punish the Titans without hurting or benefitting the Bills. You add an extra week or pause the league, you're making them play a week no one else is, or stopping an undefeated team in a groove and giving them time off, hoping they pick up where they left off. You make the Titans forfeit, you're gifting them a win. Still think forfeit is the best option.

Other option is to just go off winning percentage and not record and cancel Bills/Titans. Then just punish the Titans with forfeiture of draft picks, cap space and money.

Anyways this just shows the NFL has no clue what the hell they are doing. If a team can find active positive tests almost 10 days after the first one, a bunch of teams aren’t safe. That means Patriots, Raiders, Chiefs

They wouldn't be finding those tests if the Titans followed protocol.
