He was locking onto guys and not going through progressions and timeâs and telegraphing passes. I also wouldnât be surprised if Thomas Davis had some sway in this which my reaction to that is who gives an eff what a 38-year old LB whoâs not part of this team long term thinks? If Rivera is trying to win bc Thomas Davis wants to make the playoffs thatâs a big WTF for the WFT! He is. No doubt about it. I mentioned that in my earlier post. He had Mclaurin in the middle for looked like 15 yard completion. No one around him (closest DB was near the numbers and the LB was too far away)...and he checked down to the flat to Barber and missed him there too. It was a cluster on that play. Note to all: By no means am I saying the guy's a good QB. I'm just arguing that this is way too early to pull him.

Yeah. Guy's a bum. Gary Clark? Total bum Let's go more recent with Cooper Kupp? Bum There are numerous others in the last 30 years, but I'm too lazy and distracted by work to list them all. But you get the point. Your logic is not sound here. Quote Remind me again of all those NDSU QBs to win Super Bowls? Note. I've never advocated for drafting one from NDSU (and I never thought much of him at NDSU either). Although I will say that Wentz got the Eagles to a a #1 seed before getting hurt that SB year.  I can go on and on about FCS players making rosters and working out. I can also point out that FBS players also don't work out.  My point is that I'm specifically looking at OSU and the QBs they produce. Can you name me one that has actually worked out? This is so stupid. If there is drama it was created by Rivera himself with his comments, his absurd game management, in game impossible test, and his general inconsistent approach to haskins.

Before Russell Wilson, was there a Wisconsin QB to work out? Before Mahomes was there a Texas Tech QB to work out? Before Lamar Jackson, was there a Louisville QB to work out? Before Big Ben was there a QB to come out of Miami of Ohio to work out? Edited October 7, 2020 by turtle28

Every QB in the Nation throws to mostly wide open WRs in college. We all know this.

There's always a first time. So questions that then need to be answered are: Is he as good and as accomplished as they were in college? How long has he started? Why did he transfer to OSU? Show me his worst games. Is there video on that? Things like that are what I'm interested in. I can be sold on him. But that's gonna take some selling by others.
