HTTRDynasty
All I'll say is this: Jared Goff is the 4th highest rated QB this season, per PFF. Letting KOC get away could possibly be Rivera's biggest misstep.

We all knew what we had in him. And think most of us thought it was a lock for him to ace through the interview and keep his role. Still cant figure that one out. The level of bias aiding "buddies" over what we knew of KOCs potential is mindblowing.

It was an obvious mistake while it was happening, and an even more obvious mistake in hindsight.

Hard to find a coach that doesn't have some sort of nepotism and familiarity throughout.

Yeah, but you don’t have to look much further than our own most hated rival this offseason for an accomplished veteran coach choosing to keep a hotshot young OC who was having success working with the entrenched QB. And McCarthy is an offense guy, so it was much more of a control-yielding, ego-swallowing choice on his part to keep Moore in place than it would’ve been for Rivera to keep KOC.
ARTMONK HOF
Possibly one of the reasons for the benching

I won’t confuse Kyle Allen w/ Lamar Jackson, Pat Mahomes, Josh Allen (I know, same last name but not brothers) or even RG3 athletically, so hope you don’t do the same. Also, you can’t use Haskins’s combine as a barometer. He’s lost 15 pounds since the combine and pro day. He’s a better athletes. He was back then and he’s always been a sneaky good athlete like Big Ben, but not an explosive athlete. I just think it's a important issue that no one is really talking about why Haskins has failed. He ran a 5.04 forty at the combine at 231lbs. He had a 28.5 inch vertical. Those are are not good numbers for a quarterback anyway you want to spin it. Just because he lost 13 pounds (according to ESPN), it doesn't mean those numbers get significantly better. It doesn't work that way. Haskins repeatedly tried to extend throwing plays via his legs this year and it just wasn't happening. You can't just make stuff up, throw out facts and say he is a sneaky good athlete without backing it up. Big Ben ran a 4.75 forty at the combine at a heavier weight and is taller as well. Luckily we have signs that some of our scouts use analytics and can single out elite athletes like Antonio Gibson Edited October 9, 2020 by taylor made

Such a good look for our team. I will give him this, at least the Rivera lead Washington Football team is an equal opportunity leaker. They make sure every reporter has something. Good job Rivera!

Anybody who believes this crap after it’s happened to so many other players is just dumb. And yes, the local media plays into this a lot. Grant Paulsen is another clown who I can’t stand.

You had two homegrown hot shots in Kyle Smith and KOC and had your opportunity to do something beyond the retread bullcrap we always do and just decided to go with a guy who couldn’t win in a better organization while having one of the leagues better rosters for 10 years. Expecting Rivera to win here when he couldn’t do it in Carolina is kinda hilarious really.

Lavar, if KOC was selected head coach, (which I wouldn’t have had a problem with) do you think that still would have gotten rid of Bruce? I do. Brice was fired based off a decade of ineptitude, like Vinny. The firings are very similar. Allows the GM to fire the HC Dan wanted & got - although Gibbs retired - allowed the Gm to select the next HC even though it made sense to go with one of the on staff coaches after Gibbs - but either way, Dan gave the GM/team President his guy but that made those two tied at the hip. Dan had decided - probably after the horrific start w/ Gruden’s two hand picked QBs - that they were both going to be gone.
