He parlayed one good season with NE into a big payday and fell off. His best year was with the Chiefs tho

He's had bad luck in the playoffs but he's a 97 rated playoff QB with 14 TDs to 2 picks. He missed out on a Super Bowl only because Kyle bleepin Williams muffed 2 punts. If the one hit is an entire decade then you may be on to something. Foles is also working on hit number 4. 2013 2017 2018 Now? FYI - He was also a 100+ rating backup in 2 games in KC back with Andy. I'm pretty sure thinking about the 2015 Rams actually causes brain damage in lazy football fans. Vick was a stud in Atlanta for about 4 seasons and then had his 2010 in Philly. 5 hit wonder? Those 2 playoff wins in Atlanta sure were big hits at the time. Mcnabb was outstanding in 2001-2004 and had his moments through 2010. Are we talking about 3 games from AJ Feeley, 2 games from Kevin Kolb, and one Sunday Night game with Koy Detmer? Smith was really, really bad in that NFC Championship game. Williams doesn’t muff that punt and it’s probably another 3 and out. Idk why they abandoned the run in the 2nd half. But yeah, his inability to complete passes to his receivers was a major indictment of his ability to be a true franchise QB

Its funny stuff for a league with 32 teams. Was Philip Rivers a true franchise QB? Smith went head to head with him for 5 years and kicked his butt. 8-2 head to head better record better passer rating

Smith put up inflated WCO stats on absolutely stacked, well-coached teams for a few years, but in the biggest game of his life he laid an egg. Rivers never won a big game and that’s a black mark on his resume, but he’s just a way better QB than Smith. NYRaider
• Case Keenum - Threw for 3,500 yards & 22 TD while leading the Vikings to a 11-3 record as a starter and to an NFC championship game appearance. | Never had another good season. • Derek Anderson - Threw for 3,700 yards & 29 TD while leading the Browns to a 10-5 record as a starter. | Never had another good season.

He had three good years in buffalo. Comes to Cleveland and gets stuck in the Haley Hue power struggle and then gets hurt. Gets hurt by the team doctors And loses his starting job again ready Edited October 12, 2020 by buno67
