Why do people think this injury is going to cost him? It’s a lot easier to come back from than a knee or shoulder. Not like he was playing bad before it happen. It was a freak accident. He is still going to get paid. Only thing that is going to hurt him is the damn Covid 19 hurting the salary cap

In what way does a season ending injury help his case for a top dollar long term contract next year? He won't be Franchised 2 years straight and the Jones's will use this as leverage in negotiations. This injury being reasoning as to why they can't pay him top $ or in the $35M plus type range.

If anything this injury saved the Cowboys 10's of millions because Dak was on pace for  Pat Mahomes MVP type numbers the year he won. In no way is this beneficial to Dak Prescott.

Someone explain to me why arent all coaches just wearing the face shield Reid wears. Seems so much more comfortable.

You know how all coaches cover their mouths with their play sheet when calling plays and directing traffic because they know cameras are on them and they don't want the other team to get read on what there saying? Well with covered masks they don't have too.

They're useless without an actual facemask. Also I think personally I'd find them hotter, more uncomfortable, and kinda claustrophobic.

Earl Thomas broke his leg and then got the third biggest FA contract in history the following offseason.

Thank and Thomas was past his prime. Dak is on the cusp of his. Hopefully Dallas is dumb and won’t offer him, so he hits the market

Didn’t say it helps his case but sure as hell doesn’t ruin his case. It’s not about what the Jones are going to do. There will be a market for him and that will set his value, which is going to be High but not as what it should be because of Covid hurting the cap.

ppl are acting like this completely wrecked his value. Watch the Cowboys low ball dak and say it’s because of this injury and Dak walks to a better offer and makes Jerry look dumb yet again.

what cost the Jones millions of dollars wasn’t looking dak up sooner
