NYRaider
The Chiefs were on a 13 game winning streak coming into today's game. And during that winning streak their defense was allowing 16.4 ppg.

No excuses going forward with the pass rushing. Next game against the Bucs with a very suspect OL need to go out in two weeks and continue to get those pressures Yes, exactly. But we need to get a little more penetration up the middle, pressure up the middle is Tom Brady's Kryptonite.

He may have been the best DL, but it really is reminiscent of Tommy Kelly or Sapp. He loses his gap, has no sense of the tightening the pocket on the QB. You run this risk with a speed style rusher at DT, he tries to rush around the OL player. Interior rushers yesterday rushed into the pocket through the OL, not around. Pressures mean nothing if they do not affect the overall line play or the game. If the line as a whole plays better without him then we're a much better team in a better space. We don't have stars, if the DL and the D can't play tightly as a disciplined group executing a plan, then they can't succeed. So it doesn't matter that he was the best. The line was better without him yesterday. Jones and Smith may be better for the team. It's mildly reminiscent of the Mack argument. Mack is an amazing player, but it's arguable that he was wasted on our DL because he was an isolated asset. He could be incredible, but the rest of the D was incapable of playing off of him and what he was doing. Not his fault. While Jacobs may have a greater effect on overall team success because of his position and skills and how it relates to team needs and the team offensive plan as far as ball control and opening up other players in the passing game. Humble_Beast
Since we don’t have studs on the DL, we should be RoTating to keep our guys fresh. Keep playing Smith, and Jones. They might not be all world, but they were working hard out there. Should keep a rotation of 8-9 dlineman...
RaidersAreOne
First four games, Jeff Heath's snap counts were 3, 8, 19 and 3 on defense for the #Raiders. He played 30 snaps against the Chiefs, including his 47-yard interception return . . .
Humble_Beast
Did anyone notice Mahomes just walk off the field at the end. DC went to look for a handshake, but Mahomes was nowhere to be found.

With Covid this year I really dont think people should make things like this a big deal. last week everyone was spreading the photo of him and gilmore together after the game. . . saying how he broke the rules. the players are in a lose lose spot here. Humble_Beast
Lebron walked off after a finals game. You know players from the NFL watch the NBA.
BackinBlack
Carr did a really good job of moving around in the pocket, and extending plays, which he has struggled a lot with. Was nice to see. Wish he had hit Richard on one of them cause i think it owuldve been a TD. But still ill give Carr props for moving around.

bucksavage1
Paul Guenther, Derek Carr and Ruggs had career games. The entire team stepped up and played well. The defense gets dragged in the mud a lot, great to see them play lights out in the 2nd half
