Godwin is probably playing this week

Yea, only thing that would change my current outlook on this game is if Godwin plays (and is ready to play) and King is out. That's a major swing, because Jackson/Hollman against whoever Jaire isn't covering could be a big problem.

ESPN - The Bucs' injury report this week reads like a "who's who" with 12 players listed, eight of them starters. The good news is, WR Chris Godwin (hamstring), RB Leonard Fournette (ankle), WR Justin Watson (chest) and RB LeSean McCoy (ankle) are all on their way back, returning to practice Wednesday after missing the Bears game last week. Top cornerback Carlton Davis suffered an abdominal injury, though, and did not practice Wednesday, which would be a huge blow to a Bucs defense already coping with the loss of Vita Vea.

NFL . COM - Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30, Green Bay Packers 27

Leading first-place teams, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers facing off in the only 4:25 p.m. ET game of the week is a gift from the football gods. The Bucs could use a more consistent pass rush from Shaquil Barrett and Jason Pierre-Paul, but this is still easily the toughest matchup for the streaking Packers offense this season because of Tampa's physical play in the secondary. It may also be the easiest matchup Brady's faced. The Packers' defense is quietly 29th in efficiency, still allergic to stopping the run just like every Mike Pettine Packers defense. Don't be surprised if Ronald Jones and the Bucs' offensive line steal the spotlight in an upset.

Lookin like King won't be playing this weekend. Still not practicing after leaving the Falcons game with a quad injury

Too bad. Thought we'd be at full strength after the bye and suddenly Ervin is out after playing against ATL, and now King apparently can't go. Better hope TB holds Godwin out one more week.

Well, we've known that Ervin has had some kind of wrist issue for a while now. He's been on the injury report the last handful of weeks with it, but it hasn't stopped him from missing games until now it looks like. Sucks that the bye week doesn't look to be enough time for King to recover from the quad injury he suffered late in the Falcons game

Yea, King's injury looked like another one of those "he probably could have gone back in if needed" injuries, and now he's out 2 weeks later. Not as big of a deal if Godwin doesn't play or is at least limited.

Ryan Wood -   Matt LaFleur was a high school senior when Tom Brady led Michigan to the national championship in 1998. Think about that for a moment. LaFleur is 40 years old. Tom Brady is 43.

That's crazy, I wonder if Brady would be able to work with a coach like lafluer who is younger than him.
