Im down for just skills comps. Best part anyways.

That was my favorite part of the Pro Bowl growing up.

Make it All-Pro instead then.

I’m sure the guys who are good/popular enough to make a Pro Bowl but not elite enough to make the All Pro team would go for that.

May it never come back.

Let 2020 have something good attached to it.

Should just be a permanent change. No game that is.

This means there will be fewer Pro Bowlers and alternates because the top guys won't have to opt out due to imaginary injuries
Finally, the making Pro Bowl means something !

( not really)

Should just be a permanent change. No game that is. If the NFL wants players to gather together in subsequent seasons for skill challenges, then that's fine.

Then, why even have Pro Bowl selections?

In American sports, it's a long standing tradition to have All-Star games played by All-Star players.

They're not getting rid of the Pro Bowl.  End of story.

Because it's an honor. A game doesn't have to be played, just like the All Pro doesn't have a game for it's selection.

Traditions with time can be changed or discontinued with time in favor of practicality/logic. And that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Half the selections drop out, and are filled by alternates. And no real effort is put into the game anyway by the participants. What's the point of watching a watered down product that's meaningless? Not every All Star game is created equal, and the NFL's is the worst of the bunch.

They probably won't.

Doesn't mean they shouldn't or that it's not an idea to entertain.

Think a lot of people would be understanding and perhaps approve of losing the game altogether while just announcing the rosters
