swoosh
This one stings. I always enjoyed reading his takes. 48 is way, way too young. I haven't read the cause yet.
Uncle Buck
Wow, that is a very young age. Sad to hear the news, because a lot of people seem to have a very high opinion of him. May he rest in peace.

TecmoSuperJoe
Apparently the thought going around is that it may have been suicide. Very unfortunate if that is the case.

CBears019
Used to be a Bears beat writer for the Chicago Tribune. It’s truly amazing to see all of the long tributes fellow Tribune writers are posting about him. Whenever someone passes too soon you’ll see the typical “RIP” “Gone too soon” and “thoughts and prayers” tweets. But it seems like all of his colleagues have something great to say about him and a personal story to share. My favorite is from Michael Wright (Jags writer now):

He always seemed to gain respect wherever he went and I thinks speaks alot about his character as a person. it's sad if this was indeed a suicide.
