For the first time, I’m actually open to Zaven Collins. Problem with him though is he’s kind of like Evans coming out. Played edge in college and sparingly as an ILB. He’s raw at the position and I don’t trust anybody on the staff to develop him. Or anybody for that matter.

Did he, really? I don't watch Tulsa that much, but in the (little) time I've spent watching Collins, he looks more like an ILB playing in space (which he's pretty good at) than edge rusher. I get that he's much bigger than a typical off-ball LB, but given his athleticism and how comfortable he looks dropping, I really don't understand why so many people are trying to box him as an EDGE guy.

Same. I had him on my Edge list until I watched tape, and he was playing mostly as an ILB. Love the guy, but I think he’s more of an ILB with elite pass rush ability for the position than an Edge.

He needs a good DC, of at least a creative one, to make full use of his ability IMO.

I might be in the minority but I wouldn't touch WR until round 2-3. More so 3.

Same.  We had a historically bad defense, and in addition, lost Butler, Daquan, Vaccaro, and Jayon, so we're even worse now than last year.  Dupree and Autry help, but by themselves, they probably still just get us back to about where we were.

We still need a lot of defensive help before we start worrying about secondary receivers.  Another young Edge is definitely needed, as is a real NT.  With as deep as this DL class is, the NT can come in the middle rounds.

One of the earlyish picks needs to go to either a WR or a TE, but all the rest need to help the D.

sounds like we have just the DC for him, then!

Think we take best available at this point in the 1st. Which (YUCK) could mean a RT. I would hate it soooo much. Maybe Mayfield from Michigan.

1st I see:

DT, EDGE, LB, CB being the choice

2nd I see WR:  Amon-Ra St. Brown, Terrence Marshall Jr or Dyami Brown

Them Pittsburgh EDGEs are extremely underrated. Would love to land one of them in the 2nd. Also love interior DL Jaylen Twyman.

Weaver looks so slow off the snap. Maybe he kicks inside. But on video he doesn't look explosive at all.
Like Jones and Twyman.
Also like both their safeties.

I love their safeties especially Ford. He hits like he’s 230lbs
