You can’t run on them, only way to beat them is on the passing game.

Dont believe that we cant run on them...... We'll have Incognito back hopefully and Brown and they'll be without Vea in the middle. McLendon us solid but not the same impact maker. We may not be dominant but we don't have to be, just keep ahead of the chains, convert 3rd downs and be able to use effective playaction.

Winnable game for sure but only if we play very well. Our pass rush must prove they weren't a flash in the pan, get pressure up the middle and make Brady reset and have to move. He is very susceptible to pressure up the middle and a pocket that is getting pushed back IMO.

If you remove Herbert's 2 long bombs over the last 4 weeks their secondary has only given up: 81/130 (62%), 744 yards (186 ypg | 5.7 Y/A), 3 TD, 5 INT, 14 sacks.

Not doubting Tampa Bay have a great D whatsoever, but whenever anyone says something like "if you remove these two long TDs" then the remaining stats become obsolete. You could just as easily say if we ignore the interceptions then x, y and z. The facts are they did give up two long bombs but they are also a great D, it's not mutually exclusive.

They must be favourites I would think but we may be full of confidence too, have some key players back and we have an O that can attack in a variety of ways. Going to be a fascinating strategic battle.

This is a put Carr in the shotgun and allow him to cook. Much like the Saints game. Carr was great against the blitz last year so put him in a situation(shotgun) where he can make the quick reads and get the ball out. The Raiders just want to stay out of the 3rd and long downs thats where the Bucs defense really thrives in. Send Ruggs deep early to test them and let them know what could happen. Cant wait for this game. Will let us know a lot about this Raiders team.

Playoff teams win this kind of game

Agree with both of these posts.

And yes Carr needs to be in shotgun most of this game and we gotta cook. I'm not saying abandon the run, we can still run a lot in the gun, but this is easily the #1 Run D in the NFL. Their Pass D is super good too, but has some vulnerabilities.

That Trent Brown news is not what this team needed against that defense. Changes everything

Dude he has to go... HAS to go in the off season 100%. You will get 11 games max a year from the guy. I'll take the #12 RT in football, or a 2nd Round Pick RT, over the #1 RT who plays an average of 11 games a year.
