The big difference is that most players who get traded at the deadline are set to become free agents after the season. Gilmore isn't. 

Remember when the Pats coughed up a 2nd for Sanu? Same reason.

1. That's three teams.

2. None of them have the cap space to take on his contract at the moment.

3. The Ravens already have a very good CB duo. 

If he gets traded, I think it'll be to a team like Cleveland or Philly, that's on the verge of being good, but is mainly looking to set themselves up to contend next year.
