Maybe I'm just hopeful, but he's not the kind of guy who's just going to be limited. He has the potential but that was also 3 years ago now. Every game that goes by he is less likely to ever regain that form. He just doesn't do the little things well and is very inconsistent. He misses way too many easy throws that any average NFL QB should make on a fairly consistent basis. It is 5 years in and he still fumbles at a ridiculously high rate. He gets way too many passes batted down at the LOS. That issues also stems from the fact that he throws absolute piss rockets every throw and doesn't need to and really he shouldn't. Putting a little touch on the ball gives the WR time to locate it and make a play while making body adjustments. Not that the WRs are good but I think some of the drop problems over the years are due to him throwing a tough ball to catch. It is frustrating to because it isn't like he can't put touch on his throws. We have seen him make beautiful touch passes. He just rarely does it. These excuses eventually run out. Don't forget that the first few weeks everyone directly attributed the losses/ties to Wentz's awful play. He literally lost them games on his own. If Wentz protected the ball even a little bit they are probably at least 4-3 this year.

I hate this constant aura of negativity around here. Y'all just need to appreciate the win and realize we can still improve more

EagleBlueDon
So Jake Elliott needs to go. Doug needs to give up 2 point calls and possibly more of the play calls. Opeta needs cut. Trade Ertz. Trade Alshon. NRC needs benched. Gerry needs cut (obligatory every week). Whole team needs a massive kick in the ***. Here's to being exhausted for work tomorrow. Potential is still there, you act like he suddenly doesn't have physical tools or doesn't have impressive moments. Consistency is important. He just needs to do it with more regularity. And have a better play caller

EaglesPeteC
Carson isn't the elite QB we thought he might be but he is a top 12 QB easy that you can win with. You just have to accept he is going to play hero ball and make some real boneheaded plays. It's who he is.
